Taylor giggles at his words, "Okay I'll stay with you," She caresses his hand with her finger. "But let me take these away first," She says pointing to the tray. Joe lets go of her hand and she makes her way to downstairs. She puts the utensils into the dishwasher and cleans off the kitchen counter.

"Honey you don't need to do these while I'm here," Wendy says taking her attention.

"Oh I don't mind doing this," Taylor laughs softly.

"C'mon here, sit down. You need to eat something too," Wendy takes Taylor's hand to lead her to the dining table.

"I'm not hungry to be honest."

"Oh that's not going to help. I'm not going to let you go to the bed without having proper food," Wendy says with a motherly tone.

Taylor smiles at her.

"So tell me how was your honeymoon."

"Well you can see."

"How did he fall sick suddenly like that."

"It's a result of dancing in the rain," Taylor grins reminiscing their sweet moment.

"Young love," Wendy remarks shaking her head and Taylor chuckles.

Taylor eats dinner shortly and then goes to her room to brush her teeth. She gets changed into her cats pajamas and takes her phone from the nightstand to check the time. It's midnight already.

"You're still awake?" She frowns entering the room. Joe is sitting in the middle of the bed with red nose and watering eyes. His mouth is hanging open since he can't breathe through his nose. His hair is out of place and he's surrounded with used tissues. He looks so helpless. How did this handsome guy turn into such a kid?

"I'm sorry for bothering you so much," Joe struggles to say with his sick voice.

"Aww you're not bothering me cutie," She scoffs wrapping a scarf around her face to stay away from the germs. She cleans the bed and adjusts an wet rag on his forehead. She checks his temperature one last time and it seems like the fever is going down.

"You took the medicines, you should be sleeping right now. Why are you still awake?"

"My neck hurts from laying down too much so I needed to sit up"

"Do you need a massage?"

"No it's better now. I'll sleep,"

"Okay," She turns the lights off and lies down on her side. He lies down on his side too. He keeps his distance from Taylor. It's hard to stay away from her touch even in this condition but he knows he can't be near her right now.

"Goodnight," He mumbles.

"Goodnight."

The next morning, Joe wakes up with a bad headache. His symptoms have gotten worse now. His whole body is burning and it feels very cold. Few minutes later Taylor comes to the room holding a tray with soup and medicines. She notices the empty bed and hears Joe groaning from the bathroom. She darts towards the bathroom to help him out. She starts making circles on his back while he keeps emptying his stomach.

"Please go away from here. I'm gross now." He sighs with a tired voice seeing her behind him.

"I'm not going. Are you done?" She asks with a calm voice.

He nods and Taylor helps him to stand up. They move to the counter and Joe rinses his mouth. She caresses his shoulder looking at his helpless state. He's clearly suffering too much and they need to call the doctor. When he's done, she helps him to move onto the bed.
