Few weeks later, Taylor and Joe are on their way to his parents house. Elizabeth invited them over for dinner due to some reasons. She's still mad at Joe for canceling their turks and caicos vacation though. Joe looks beside to see Taylor looking out of the window of the car. She has not been her real self for the past few days and he doesn’t really know why. He places his hand on her thigh and she winces a little bit. She finally looks at him and gives him a small smile. "Are you okay?" He asks her while stroking her skin. She nods shortly and looks out of the window again. Something is bothering her for sure and he doesn’t like the idea of it. On the other hand, the divorce papers thing is eating him up for a while. So he has decided to tell her about it today. He would've told her earlier but they were so busy that he couldn’t make a perfect time. She would spend all day at office and come late at home. Even at home she'd spend all of her time on the laptop. She doesn’t even watch her favourite series anymore. They are having intercourses daily though. And she's so rough at it. It feels like she is not involving her feelings in sex anymore. But everytime he asks her about it, she denies it straight away telling him that she's fine.

When they reach his parents house, Elizabeth welcomes them with the brightest smile. Taylor returns it back and hugs her tightly.

"You guys are early today. The meal isn't ready yet," She says as they take seat in the living area.

"It's fine, we didn’t have anything to do at home anyway," Taylor says smiling.

"Okay make yourself comfortable, I'll be right back," Elizabeth leaves the room to finish cooking. Which leaves them all alone again.

"Where's Patrick?" Taylor asks facing Joe.

"He's shy to show us his face, after what he did last time," He chuckles.

"Oh," She smiles and the room goes silent again.

"Do you want to take a walk outside?" He asks her.

"No I'm good," She cuts him off immediately.

"Please let's go. I want to tell you about something."

She looks at him properly this time. "Okay."

Then they go for a walk holding each others hands. The breezy air makes a chill sensation on their skin. They are there together, but at the same time they're not. None of them takes the first step to talk about this uncomfortable situation between them. They don’t know how to address it. Suddenly Taylor stops near a tree and brings Joe's face down, to kiss him passionately. He grunts and gives it back. He pushes her body against the tree to kiss her again. It has become their daily habit. They can't talk to each other properly so they just punish each other with physical interactions. She runs her hands all over his back while he kisses her with hunger. This is an addiction and none of them can live without it. He breaks off the kiss and holds her face with his hands. She puts her forehead against his as they try to fix their breathing. She suddenly feels his body shaking and opens her eyes to look at his face. He's crying...

Taylor gulps down feeling the same rush of sadness but composes herself.

"Babe, what's wrong?" She whispers wiping off his tears. No matter how much he has shattered her heart, she still can't see him crying. It hurts her to the core.

"Joe look up," She whispers again trying to make him talk.

"I'm so so sorry," He cries out while putting his head on her shoulder, "This thing is eating me up, I can't do this anymore."

"What happened? Tell me I'm listening," She pats his hair down. Maybe in deep down she knows what he wants to talk about.

"I've done something stupid... and while trying to fix that stupid thing... I've messed up even more. I...I've fucked up babe. I'm so sorry."
