Joe looks up from his phone to see Taylor getting ready to meet Adam at the restaurant. He's chilling on her bed while she puts on her makeup. She chose to wear a white fluffy top and blue jeans with snickers. Joe sits up on the bed when she starts combing her hair. She decides to keep it down naturally.

"Do you really have to go?" He asks her with a frown.

"Yeah I've promised him," Taylor replies shortly. She takes the concealer from her makeup bag to make a layer on her swollen skin.

"Why can't I come with you?"

"Because it's none of your business there."

"And how about my feelings?"

"What about your feelings?"

"I feel protective about you."

"Gosh Joe why are you acting like a husband suddenly?" She giggles looking at him.

"What else are we then? I'm your husband and you're my wife," Joe mumbles and Taylor gives him a serious look this time. Does he really think in that way? If he does then it's really flattering. But she can only wish.

"I thought we're on the phase of friends with benefits," She chuckles looking at his frowned face.

"Well I don't think of it in that way."

"Then let me know about your thoughts," She says playfully.

"I'll let you know about it someday."

"Okay I'm eagerly waiting."

Joe stands up from the bed when she's is finished getting ready. He wraps his hands around her waist to look at their reflection on the mirror. Taylor grins watching his puppy eyes which are begging her to stay with him. She truns around and holds his neck to give him a kiss. Joe then pulls her body into a tight hug. He breathes in her sweet smell still holding onto her. During these past few days they've been inseparable from each other. They did everything together, everything. She was always with him, she took care of him. She slept in his bed to give him comfort. She was there when he needed her the most and the last two days have been more intimate to them. They made love for the first time. He doesn't want to let her go away from him again. It feels like something is snatching her away from him when everything is going good. From Taylor's previous talks today, he has gotten the knowledge that she's going to say no to Adam. But something about this is still disturbing him. He's worried. He doesn't want to stay away from her.

After a while both of them come downstairs, keeping their hands intertwined. Taylor says bye to Joe as she gets into the passengers seat. He gives her a faint smile before the car starts and takes her away from him.

Taylor fixes her hair one last time to make sure her swollen skin is hidden. She then gets off the car and makes her way to the restaurant. It's not that much crowded as it always seems to be. She takes out her phone to call Adam and know where he is. Has he even come here this early? One thing she's learned about him during the past few years is that he doesn't show up timely, ever. Taylor frowns as he doesn't pick up her calls, as expected. She sighs when it directly goes to voicemail next time. She turns off her phone and decides to go inside. She sits on a table and waits for him. After waiting for a few minutes, she takes out her phone to scroll through her social media. She smiles watching some cute paparazzi pictures of her and Joe from Paris and from the Gala. She already misses him terribly. It takes almost one hour for Adam to appear, when Taylor was just about to leave in frustration. She sits down noticing him as he comes near the table.

"Hey," Adam says with a huge smile.

"Hi," Taylor replies shortly with a tight lipped smile.

"Wow you look so good, you're literally glowing," He compliments her taking his seat.
