The next day Taylor wakes up early in the morning. Waking up would be a wrong word to use since she didn’t get an ounce of sleep last night. She turns over and starts stroking Joy's bubbly cheeks. Seeing her daughter's cute face might take that scene away from her brain.

He kissed her. The sentence keeps rushing back to her head everytime she tries to close her eyes. The scene of him leaning towards Melissa doesn’t stop flashing before her eyes either. How could he do that? He said he loved her and wanted to have a second chance with her. Then why would he do this? He says she's the one to toy with him but it's literally him who did that shit.

She wipes off her tears and decides to take a shower. All of it was a mistake. She became fragile again and all of it was her fault. Wiping off her smudged mascara, she looks at her reflection in the mirror. Why? Why always her?

After getting ready for the day, she takes her phone in hand seeing ten missed calls from Selena. She sighs and decides to call her back.

"Taylor," Selena breathes out finally being able to reach her.

"Hi," She whispers with a tired voice.

"Tell me what happened between Joe and Melissa."

Hearing their names, she feel the stab of pain on her chest again, "I don't know, I don’t care," She mumbles slowly.

"Taylor don't lie to me. I know you guys were sleeping together. I had caught you sneaking out of Joy's room that night but I never told anyone..."

"Thanks for making me feel pathetic."

"Babe noo. I was so excited about you two. I swear I wanted you to get back together again."

"Thanks I guess."

"No but why the hell he'd kiss her?"

"You saw it too right? That picture..." She cries out over the phone.

"Yeah I did but isn’t it weird that she'd take a picture with him while kissing?"

"First memorable kiss," She snorts wiping off her nose.

"That too first?"

"Yeah.  And did you see the way they were flirting with each other when I was there singing...for HIM?"

"I'm so so sorry. Do you want me to come over?"

"I don't want to bother you Sel. I'm fine," She tries to compose her shaky breathe.

"I'm coming," Selena sighs, "Bye. See you soon."

"I'm at my parents house by the way. Come over here."

"Oh God. I'm so sorry, I'll be there soon."

"Thank you," She whispers before cutting off the call.

A while later, Joy wakes up and gets confused seeing the new room. She looks around and finds her mother wiping off her tears.

"Mommy," She coos and tries to get onto her lap.

Hearing her voice, Taylor fixes her face and looks at her with a smile.

"Slept well?" She asks her ruffling her hair.

"Mommy are you sad?" She mumbles while hugging Taylor with her tiny body.

"No I'm not sad. See?" She tries to smile flashing her teeth. Seeing her, Joy smiles too. She hugs her closer.

"Where are we mum?"

"It's grandma's house. Do you like it?"

"Gramma?"

"Yes baby."
