Y/n's View

"Hey, Y/n. Where are you going?" Charli says.

"I'm leaving." I say.

"Why?" Charli asks.

"I don't belong here. I don't belong with TikTokers that have of 10 million follows. I'm not good enough." I say.

"Yes, you are." Charli says.

"I'm not even good enough for my own girlfriend. I can see you over there flirting." I say.

Don't you know I'm no good for you?

"Baby, no." Charli says.

"You've done it before. Why didn't I think you'd do it again?" I say.

I've learned to lose you,

"It's a waste of time to stay here with you. I can't afford that right now." I say.

can't afford to

"Why do you always do this in public?" Charli asks.

"I could ask you the same thing." I say.

"I've done everything for you and you're still treating me like shit. I had to cut my dad's shirt to stop you from bleeding and that's the only I have to remember him." I say.

Tore my shirt to stop you bleedin'

"But you still cheat, you just don't care." I say.

But nothin' ever stops you leavin'

"You can stay, but I'm leaving." I say.

"Y/n-" Charli says as I leave.

I get in the car and turn it on. I put my seatbelt on and start to drive home.

Quiet when I'm coming home and I'm on my own

20 minutes later...

"How was the party?" Mom asks.

"I left Charli again." I say.

"You must really like leaving alone." Mom says continuing to stare at the TV.

I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that

"Yep." I say.

I could lie, say I like it like that, like it like that

"How you eaten?" I ask.

"I'm not hungry." Mom says.

"I got you something." I say putting the bag on the coffee table.

She stares at the bag and I sigh.

"You have to eat. At least try. Please." I say.

Mom nods her head and I smile as she opens the bag.

Mom hasn't been herself since dad died 10 years ago. It just affected her more than anyone else. Lately she just hasn't wanted to go see her therapist.

I put my keys on the counter and hear a knock on the door.

I open the door and see Charli.

"I'll be back." I say.

"Okay." Mom says.

I go out in the hallway and shut the door.

"Why are you here?" I ask.

"I get that I screwed up, but is there something else I'm missing? You've been acting weird. Is your mom okay?" Charli says.

"My mom is just fine. And why would I tell you if she wasn't? You already know too much." I say.
