I look up at the ceiling and sigh.

"You're never gonna get married." Katelyn says.
I turn my head to look at her and she shakes her head.
"You do know that I gave it my all, right?" I ask.

"Doesn't mean anything." Katelyn says.
"While you're in here, can you toss me my pants?" I ask sitting up.
Katelyn stares at my pants on the floor and screams.
"Mom!" She screams running out.
I laugh and she slams the door shut. I get up and out my pants on.
"Don't say it." Dixie says looking at me with tears in my eyes.
Don't say goodbye,
"Goodnight, Dixie." I say opening the door.
My phone dings and I grab it.

I sigh and put my phone down.
1 month later...
"Y/n?" Someone asks.
I look up and see Dixie.
"Hey." I say.
"I could barely recognize you." Dixie says.
"Neither can I, to be honest." I say.
Dixie laughs and I smile.
"I'm sorry about the way things ended. I made that whole thing about how we were gonna be together forever, but that never happened." I say.
Was supposed to be forever, sorry that I cut the ties
"You don't have to-" Dixie says.
"No, I regret just leaving like that. I really want-" I say.
Really wanna be together, if it takes another life
"Sorry, there was a long line." Someone says walking up to us.
"It's fine. Y/n, this is my boyfriend, Noah." Dixie says.
If I see you with another, stab me right inside my eye
"The star of the show is back." Katelyn says coming back from the bathroom.
