I unlock the door and see Y/n doing push-ups.

"You know you don't have to do this every day until you get deployed again, right?" I ask.

"I have nothing better to do." Y/n says getting up.

"Can I just say you look very young for 35?" I ask.

Y/n smiles and hug her. She kisses me and I smile.

"Where's Aiden?" I ask.

"Upstairs." Y/n says.

"Is he still complaining about his braces?" I ask.

"Yes, but I explained in great detail what would happen if he didn't wear them." She says.

"What did you tell him?" I ask.

"I told him I would have to shift his teeth with my bare hands." She says.

I laugh and she smiles. We go upstairs and walk down the hallway.

"I'll go take a shower and then we can figure out dinner." She says going in the bedroom.

I nod my head and go in Aiden's room.

"Hey, mom." Aiden says pausing his game.

"Hi, what's going on with these braces?" I ask.

"They make me look ridiculous. I already have glasses. Why do I need braces too?" Aiden says.

"You know, we used to have braces and glasses." I say.

"Really?" Aiden asks.

"Yeah." I say showing him a picture.

"And Y/n had big circle glasses." I say showing him a photo of Y/n.

"Wow. And you guys look like this now?" He says.

"Yep, it was worth it. Besides, your homeschool and you don't have any friends. Who's gonna see them?" I say.

His jaw drops and we both laugh.

"I guess they won't be so bad." He says.

I smile and leave his room. My phone vibrates and I take it out my pocket.

I hear a knock on the door and I open it. I see Dixie and Noah with a young and I let them in.

"This is a very large house." Dixie says looking around.

"$99,000,000." I say.

"How can you afford this?" Dixie asks.

"My spouse has a very good job. An average salary of $197,000." I say.
