"She's so gorgeous, just look at her." Mom says when she sees Dixie.

Mr. "Perfect face"

Dixie giggles and mom hugs her.

Mom has never said any of those things about my other partners - let alone myself.

"Ah, she looks like a keeper already. You married the right one." Dad says hugging Dixie.

Mr. "Here to stay"

He's never hugged me.

"They love me so I'm here to stay." Dixie says.

Mr. "Looked me in the eye and told me you would never go away"

"Yes, she is apart of the family." Mom says.

Everything was right

"I've been looking for someone like her my whole life." Dixie says.

Mr. "I've been waitin' for you all my life"

I smile and my parents go in the kitchen.

I start to cry and Charli hugs me.

I fall apart

I wanted to leave Dixie when that happened. Dixie's too possessive, she acts like she needs me and I fall back in her trap every time. It's too much.

It takes everything in me just to get up each day

I'll stay with her if that's what it takes to keep her sane.
