Charli opens her eyes and smiles when she sees me.

"Good morning beautiful." I say.

"How'd you sleep?" Charli asks sitting up.
"Good. I had a dream that we celebrated our 105th anniversary." I say.

When I think of all the years I want to be with you
"Maybe we will get to celebrate it." Charli says smiling.
"I hope." I say.
Wake up every morning with you in my bed
That's precisely what I plan to do
She kisses me and I smile.
"No, you gotta go to work." Charli says as I kiss her neck.
"Okay." I say getting up.

I unlock the door and see Charli sitting on the couch.
"How was work?" Charli asks.
"Another day of getting paid minimum wage for putting my hands in people's mouths." I say.
"You're gonna get there one day." Charli says.
And you know one of these days when I get my money right
"And I'll show you all the finer things in life." I say.
Buy you everything and show you all of the finer things in life
Charli smiles and I kiss her.
We'll forever be in love so there ain't no need to rush
"I have a question." I say.
But one day I won't be able to ask you loud enough
"What?" Charli asks.
"Will you marry me?" I ask.
I'll say will you marry me?
I swear that I will mean it
"Baby, no." Charli says.
"What? Why?" I ask.
I'll say will you marry me?
"You know you can't get married especially when you know your parents will cut you off." She says.
Singing, oh-woah
My parents are strictly against marriage. That's because my parents are from the same family. They can't get married legally so I'm not allowed to get married at all.

"It's not that I don't love you, I just don't want to ruin your relationship." She says.

"I understand." I say.
She smiles and kisses me.

"You have to brush your teeth every day, Duncan." I say.
