I reach for the book on the top shelf and someone else grabs it. I turn around and see the girl I see every day in all my classes.

"Thanks." I say as the book to me.

"No problem." She says.

We stare at each other and both laugh.

"I'm Y/n." She says.

"I'm Charli." I say.

"You know, it's funny how we have every class together but don't know each other's names." I say.

"It is kind of funny." Y/n says.

Y/n laughs and I smile.

"I'll see you around." Y/n says.

Y/n walks away and goes down a different aisle. I sit down at a table and open the book.

I look over the hook and stare at Y/n.

The bell rings and Y/n leaves the library.

"Pick a partner and begin working." Mrs Holiday says.

Y/n sits in the empty seat beside me and I look at her.

"You can't get rid of me that quickly." Y/n says.

I smile and Y/n opens the book on the table.

1 hour later...

"If 2 plus 2 is 4." Y/n says.

"Right." I say.

"And 5 plus 5 is 10." Y/n says.

"Yes." I say.

"What the fuck is this?" Y/n asks.

I laugh and she smiles. Y/n looks back down at the book and I stare at her.

The bell rings and everyone gets up.

"Do you want to meet up over the weekend to talk about it?" Y/n asks.

"Yes, of course." I say.

Y/n smiles and I grab the marker off the table. I roll her sleeve up and write my number on her arm.

"Oh my god, I got a girl's digits." She says.
