Giovanni laced his hand with mine, pulling me through the filled grass. I tugged my sweater closer to me as I felt the breeze.

"Where are we going?"  I asked again for the dozen time.

He pulled me out of bed and told me to get dressed.

It has been a month since, well everything. I keep thinking I'm still in that coma and Giovanni telling me he loves me is a dream that is just gonna fade.

I've waited for it to fade away in the clouds for the past month, there's nothing yet.

"It's a surprise." I rolled my eyes at the same reply.

"The last surprise, I received I end up running through some woods getting chased with weapons. Or that other time when we literally committed a crime and end up in a cell." I remind him.

"And you had fun each time." He kissed my nose pulling me into him.

Yes, he's right but, still I rather not just jump into something like that again.

"Can you just tell me?" I beg, clinging onto his arm. As we walk down the rocky path.

"As much as I love it when you beg, I'm gonna need you to stop. Where almost there." I rolled my eyes, messing with my necklace.

He gave me another one, this time it has two roses on it with something in Italian embedded into it.

Giovanni covers his hands around my eyes making me giggle. The electric shock I feel every time he touches me flew straight down my spine.

"If you smudge my mascara I'm gonna kick your ass." I held onto his hands as he guided me somewhere.

"I like it when your makeup is smudge, it reminds me how much you enjoy getting on your knees." He whispered in my ear. My breath hitch feeling him this close.

Before I know it he pulled away. "Open your eyes."

I flutter my eyes opening taking in the sun once again. The spring air wrapped around us, my eyes dance across the filled grass, my ears perked at the sound of water. There must be a lake nearby.

A blanket laid across the grass with flowers all around it. My eyes widen taking in the large trees around us I turn my head looking at a small cabin, the flower bed caught my eyes as the birds sing.

"Gio what is this?" I turn to look at him, a lazy smile on his face.

"I noticed I'd never took you out on a date." He walked closer to me, wrapping his hands around my waist.
