Humming to the song on the radio, I was now in Ashton's orange Lamborghini Aventador. The weather today was lovely, cloudy, no rain, not too sunny, just nice. I wish he would open the car roof, I know it can because I'm familiar with the car. Looking out the window, I continued to hum. It's like Ashton could read my mind.

"Would you like me to open the roof?", he asked, glancing at me with a smile on his lips. Instantly, I turned to face with excited eyes.

"Yes please!"

He chuckled and pressed the button, which opened the car roof. The feeling of the wind against my face made my eyes fall shut as I breathed in clean air before opening my eyes and exhaled.

"Thank you."

He gave me his smile in return that for sure would make any girl swoon.

While smiling, I continued to hum until the song Payphone by Maroon 5 came on, that's when I lost all control.

"I know it's hard to remember, the people we use to be, it's even harder to picture, that you're not here next to me, you say it's too late to make it, but is it too late to try? ", I sang the lyrics but when I realised I was, I glanced at Ashton. He was smiling.

"Um. .sorry, I -" I lowered my head in embarrassment.

"No need to apologise. Go ahead, keep singing."

I smiled before continuing. I waited for the chorus.

"I'm at a payphone, trying to call home, all of my change I spent on you. Where have the times gone? Baby, it's all wrong. Where are the plans made for two? ", I continued, "If happy ever after did exist, I would still be holding you like this. All those fairytales are full of shit, one more fucking love song, I'll be sick."

I stopped. "Do you know the song?", I asked Ashton. He nodded.

"Well then? Sing with me!", I encouraged, smiling.

He continued to smile and shook his head.

"You can't expect to be fine, I don't expect you to care. I know I said it before, but all of our bridges, burnt down. Come on Ashton!", I encouraged him, again,  "I've wasted my nights, you turned out the lights. Come on!" My smile never left my face. When I realised he won't sing, I sighed and continued to sing myself. Until it reached the chorus.

"I'm at a payphone, trying to call home, all of my change I spent on you", we sang together. Both of our smiles got wider as we continued to sing.

"If happy ever after did exist, I would still be holding you like this. All of those fairytales are full of shit, one more fucking love song, I'll be sick." We glanced at each other and started laughing. Honestly, I've never had this much fun singing with someone. Not even with my sister's. It felt different Ashton.
