I stare at Rumi. While they were gone, the clothe on her mouth fell off. It took a long while though. Hey, it's better than nothing I suppose.

"We need to get out of here! We can't let them launch a war! We need to escape!" I finally speak.

"Wow really? I never even thought about that!" She answers.

"Real-?" I start.

"I was being sarcastic!" She yells.

We eventually break into giggles.

Eventually I sigh, a very broken sigh.

"I'm so sorry Rumi..." I state sadly, keeping my head down.

"Sorry for what?" She asks and does her best to turn to me.

"I messed up your entire life! You would have still been a princess a-and Hutchins would have been nice an-" I ramble until Rumi cuts me off.

"Lloyd, you don't understand. You didn't ruin anything. I chose to come and see you guys and you only helped me see the truth about Hutchins! Im actually grateful that I met you scums," she smiles.

I smile back at her, one filled with joy and secretly... love.

"Now... we just need to find a way out of here!" She motivates. "Any ideas?"

I exhale sadly. "No..."

One day went by and we still haven't thought of a plan. We are on the second day! Tomorrow is the day of the war!

I look around. There's got to be something. I move my body a little and I holler in pain. Harumi quickly whips her head around for her eyes to crease in pity.

"Don't worry,  we'll get out of here and then, I'll address your wounds," she assures.

"Rumi, I have so many of them," I laugh.

She looks like she wants to ask something but then later shuts her mouth. I want to ask her what it is but I decide not to push it.

I look around the room. There is a window in the corner of the room, bars running across the window. 'That could be a valuable asset' I think to myself.

I then glance at us. I see the chairs we are chained too. Our hands are tied around the back. An idea suddenly pops into my head.

"Rumi! I have an idea! Move your chair as best as you can toward me!" I order.

She looks at me as if I lost my marbles but does as I say. I do my best to do so too but every move I make makes me entire body scream at me. It feels like someone is running a chainsaw through my entire body but somehow, I'm still alive and that it's all a game of torture.

We finally arrive at each other.

"Make sure your back is touching mine," I ask again.

She wiggles and then eventually, both our backs are touching.

"Perfect!" I praise.

I use my hands and try and pry the chains off of her. I grunt and groan in pain but finally, they fall to the floor with a loud clank!
