If there had to be a place in this world which Seokjin dreaded and loved at the same time, it would definitely be the cemetery. The cemetery where the remnants of his daughter laid.

The blues and greys that loomed around— though garrotting and something awfully absurd to get accustomed to— had, with the passage of time, come to grow on Seokjin. The journey of him from wanting to retch at a mere sight of his daughter who had ended up losing her tangible form, to him reclining by her gravestone for hours whilst the inconsiderate grit troubled him— was not an easy one to scale. And certainly not when he had no one beside him who could sympathize with, and console him with the words that he hankered to be addressed with.

This last one year for Seokjin, despite of him disregarding those three hundred and sixty five days as anything but memorable ones, was marked by nightmares that tended to knock him out of his breath every time they would flare up. Just when he had accepted his future to be transpiring the same way too, a beam of hope bumped into him. His beam of hope bumped into him, and flipped his entire world upside down.

What was he supposed to do now? Let fate take the steering wheel of his broken car or dare be the braveheart once again and rewrite his own stars? Should he continue to yield to his cruel destiny or stomp all over it so that he could finally take decisions of his own without having to confront second-thoughts?

Battling the same notion in his head, Seokjin crouched down before Jinjoo initially— him breaking the awkward silence with a smile aimed at the expressionless slab in front of him, acting as the cue for him to perch on the dewy turf.

"How is my little star doing?" Seokjin whispered, trying his best at holding back his tears. "Daddy is here today to ask you something, Jinjoo. I can't think straight, please guide me," and the barriers in his eyes ruptured.
