Several hours later.
I was sitting in the living room with some of the girls, when Katie barged in.
"Guys!! Guys!!!! VIV- VIV," she said, out of breath.
All of us stood up immediately.
"KATIE, SPEAK."
"She- she- she sent us a letter."
"What does it say? Is she safe?" I said, scared to hear her reply.
"She said the plan didn't work and the army managed to get to Earth. BUT, she also mentioned that she would be running away to join us here. But, umm, she was supposed to be here five hours ago. The letter got delivered late too."
"Oh, no," I said, about to lose consciousness.
Luckily, Jordan was standing by me and she caught me just in time.
"Let's just wait, okay?" Lia said, seeing how worried everyone got.
"Yeah, we have no other choice," replied Beth.
"She will be alright, guys, don't worry. It's Viv, after all. She never loses." added Kim.
I collapsed on the couch and said, "What if she isn't alright?"
"She promised you she would be."
