The Flight Attendee

"Hello?"

"MOMMY I MISS YOU," Her daughter's sudden muffled cries bring her back to the consciousness. Shit. What time is it?

She checks her phone screen and it's already 8 p.m.

"I'm sorry baby. We are coming home soon okay?" She tries to make her calm down, "Be a good girl till mommy comes home."

"Come soon mommy," She coos and Taylor's heart shatters.

"Mommy loves you baby. You're such a good girl," She pampers her.

"I love you too mommy," Joy mutters with her baby voice.

"My sweet little girl," She sends her a kiss through the phone, "Give the phone to Ashley auntie?"

"Okay mommy."

"Hello? Taylor?"

"Yes Ashley, Did Joy have her dinner?"

"Yes I've already fed her but she's just missing you guys."

"Take care of her we are coming soon."

"Sure," Ashley assures her.

After finishing the call, Taylor turns around and looks at Joe. He's still asleep, well she's exhausted too after their sweet passionate activities from earlier but they need to be at home soon.

"Wake up sleepyhead," She whispers lifting up one of his eyelids. He frowns in confusion, causing her giggle.

But his eyelid gets closed again.

"Joe," She pats on his cheeks.

"Joeee," She tries to tickle on his neck.

"Joe?"

"JOE," This time she shouts out loud making him sit up straight.

"WHAT HAPPENED?" He panics.

"We are late, Joy is crying and you haven't packed your bags yet."

"You could've called me more delicately," He groans running his hand through his fluffy hair.

"Sure but you don't listen to me when I'm being nicer," She rolls her eyes and comes out of the bed to get dressed.

He gets up too and starts packing his bag. Taylor helps him to fold his clothes. She manages the shopping bags as well. When they're done getting dressed, he brings up his phone to call the staff to carry the bags.

"Can you drive today? I'm still sleepy," He mumbles placing the car keys towards Taylor.

"Okay," She takes them in her hand.

"MOMMY," Joy squeals seeing them as Ashley opens the door. She starts jumping and grasps onto Joe's legs giggling. He picks her up placing a kiss on her forehead.

"Only missed mommy? Not daddy?" He asks her entering the house.

"I missed you too but I missed mommy more," She giggles playing with his short beard.

"Ahh I see, my princess loves her mommy more," Joe tries to make a sad face in front of her.

"That's probably because she's used to being away from you," Ashley blurts out making him slightly uncomfortable. No need to rub that on his face...

"Well, I'm starving someone give me food," Taylor changes the topic placing a kiss on Joy's cheek.

"I've warmed up the frozen pizza," Ashley tells them.

"Thank you, you are a life saver."

"Now that you guys are home, I'm going okay?"

"Sure and thanks for today," Taylor smiles.
