"Are you nervous, " Anthony asks walking Marguerite down the aisle.
Today was the day highly anticipated by the Bridgertons to day the least. Marguerite would officially become a duchess and married to Simon.
And while this day seemed rather great. Marguerite couldn't help but feel different.
For all those sweet nothings and remarks Simon said about her to the queen have been pondering in her head.
She wondered if he truly meant everything he said. She wanted to believe it all, but she knew that was only for fairytale stories, not reality.
"Stop talking people will look, " Marguerite said as they walked. She looked to see Elizabeth and her family to be there and could not help but smile. For it seemed no matter what Elizabeth was truly loyal and supportive of Marguerite.
"I will be fine brother trust me, " Marguerite reassured as they got closer to Simon, who as soon as he saw Marguerite, he couldn't keep his eyes away from her.
" She looks beautiful, " was all Simon could think of. He could admit that at least. Marguerite looked beautiful every time Simon would see her, but this time it was different. She was alluring with untold beauty. Simon couldn't help but smile. Making Marguerite return the smile to him shyly.
Anthony gave Marguerite away to Simon as he looked at how happy she was. And how stunning she looked too.
And as Marguerite stood next to Simon as the Priest spoke she count believe she was getting married. Never in her mind did she ever see it happening for her. But on the contrary, it did indeed.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony. It is said that marriage hath in it less of beauty but more of safety than the single life. " the priest said as Marguerite took a side glance at Simon and then look away once Simon looked at her and rather how blunt her facial expression was.
They haven't talked or said on word to each other ever since growing to see the Queen. So there were things that were definitely left unsaid.
Things sped up after that with the couple turning to face one another and Simon removing Marguerite's glove place the ring on her finger as the priest prayed.
"...in the name of the father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen. I now pronounce you man and wife. " The priest said as Marguerite and Simon became now officially married.

Marguerite couldn't believe what gag happened. But she tried to forget and move on, by going to guest and speaking rather fondly of how happy she was with her marriage to Simon.
