𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐞 ||| 𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐯 (𝟏)

[ 𝟏𝟕 ]

"My dad said we're moving to Germany by the end of summer."

"Why?" I asked Yangyang who walked beside me with his head down.

Yangyang shrugged and said, "He said that he got a better job there."

"Oh."

All three of us walked in silence until Hendery spoke up.

"Well, look on the bright side, you'll get to see a new country!" Hendery exclaimed. "I've heard that Germany's a nice place, I'm sure you'll love it there."

Yangyang returned a small smile. Hendery was always there to brighten up the atmosphere when we were feeling down and I found that inspiring.

"Cheer up, today's the last day of 7th grade!" I spoke. "We can hang out today after school and plan out our summer. After all, we have to make use of every minute we have."

I put out my fist. We had all promised to wear our bracelets as a sign of friendship.

"Let's live our summer together to its fullest!"
