P R O L O G U E 

Eighteenth birthday? Wasn't I supposed to be an adult today? Wasn't I supposed to cherish this forever? With family and friends? Damn, I don't even have pets to start with.....

Friends? Four people scattered somewhere in the world. We are different yet all the same. Wearing masks, façades, hiding what we are inside, deep down. Just so we can keep pretending, keep acting, keep the reputation intact. I miss these four, especially today, when I am here all alone. I hope they understand why I did what I did when the time comes.

Oh and what about the people who raised me? The ones who break down my bedroom door, jump on my bed like three year olds' when the clock strikes midnight? Family? No idea, no clue, whatsoever. God knows where they are or how they are? I can only hope they are okay...

Well, eighteenth birthday of normal people might be something but I am not normal. I am anything but normal. This birthday, it was an excuse, a mere excuse. An excuse or a purpose for my existence? That's something I have yet to decide upon. 

"Miss Heart, the plane is ready. It's time."  

Time. It is hard to understand, it's inexpressible. A concept I would have loved to ponder my time on if I had any. It's something that I don't have. Yet, it's something I am willing to sacrifice my life for.  

"Thank you, ladies and gentlemen for boarding BA049, we are departing London at 14:30 and will be arriving in Seattle at 16:05 local time. Hope you all have a safe journey with me, your pilot, Davin Colorado and co-pilot, Tyler Rodrigo."

I just hope there is enough time to come out unscathed.
