• Chapter ten •

"The girl you came with?" He asked. I nodded.

"Come, I'll take you." He said and grabbed my hand. He held me close and began taking me through the crowd. I followed him till he stopped. My brows furrowed. "Where is she-"

"I'm sorry, Mei. I actually need to tell you something." He told me.

I relaxed my brows. "Oh."

He suddenly grabbed my hand.

"Mei, i-" he began but was cut of.

"Namjoon."

I turned my head and saw jungkook. His fists were clenched and if looks could kill, Namjoon would've been in heaven already.

"The boys are calling you." He said not looking at me even once. It was as if I didn't exist.

"I'll be the-"

"Now." He said cutting Namjoon off again.

He sighed and nodded.

"We'll talk in school." He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on my cheek. I looked up at him and he smiled down at me.

He released my hand and walked over to jungkook who was burning holes into my face with his eyes. We locked eyes but I quicky looked away and walked off the in other direction.

I guess luck finally decided to be on my side when I found Ae-ri sitting on a table alone, sipping her drink. I walked over to her.

"I'm sorry I left you!" I said as I sat down beside her. She frowned. "Zake was a jerk." She said sulking. My brows furrowed. "Zake?" I repeated.

"Hmmm. The guy I was dancing with AND Kissed." She groaned and threw her head back.

"But where were you!? Last time I saw you was when we were playing the ga-" her eyes widened and she paused.

"DID YOU KISS HIM!? I MUST HAVE PASSED OUT OR SOMETHING!?" She exclaimed.

"DID I DIE WHEN IT HAPPENED!?!"

"HOW WAS IT!?? DID HE TONGUE YOU DOW-"

I slapped my hand over her mouth.

"Shut up!" I said and removed my hand.

"W..we didn't kiss and no. You didn't die-"

"Don't lie." She said squinting her eyes. "I'm not!" I exclaimed. She suddenly grabbed my jaw and made me face her. "Then say it again." She told me.

"Say what?" I asked playing dumb. "That you didn't kiss jungkook." She said with a raised brow. Oh God. She knows I cant lie to her face.

I smacked her hand away. "Why would you even think that?! Me? Kiss jungkook?" I said looking away.

"Then I'll just ask him to be sure." She said and stood up. My eyes widened and I quickly grabbed her hand. "Fine." I sighed.

"Fine. We did, BUT I didn't want to." I told her.

"Was it good?" She asked ignoring what I had just told her.

"That was the worst part. He's crazy good at it. It actually scares me, but I told him it was a mistake." I said looking up at her.

"And what did he say?" She asked.

"He said fine and that we should forget about it."

She suddenly slapped my arm. "Hey!" I said and rubbed my arm.

"When he said it what were his expressions?" She asked. "He seemed mad, why?" I replied.

"I knew it. He likes you, Mei!" She exclaimed.

I paused. "No. No he doesn't. It was a stupid game and he was just bored. Even if he did like me why didn't he just tell me instead of-"

"Maybe you're right." She said cutting me off. I saw she wasn't looking me but at someone behind me.

I turned around. I felt my heart sink when saw jungkook's tongue down another girls throat. It hasn't even been an hour since he's kissed me. I clenched my hand and grabbed Ae-ri's drink.

"You don't like alco-"

I ignored her and took a sip. I immediately regretted it as the alcohol caused a burning sensation in my throat. "How do people drink that." I choked. She let out a sigh. "Let's go home."

• Jungkook's PoV •

I clenched my fist as I watched him kiss her on the cheek. She watched Namjoon walk past me, then looked at me. I locked eyes with her but she quicky looked away and went in the opposite direction.

If the kiss didn't mean anything to her then I'll show her that she was just another girl i was bored with.

I looked over at a girl sitting at the bar. I nodded my head at her and she followed me to my seat. I sat down next to hoseok and told her to sit on my lap.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer to me. Before I kissed her, I looked over at Mei to make sure she was looking- then I pressed my lips against the girl on my lap.

She tasted of nothing but alcohol. The kiss was nothing compared to the one i shared with Mei. I remembered how soft Mei's lips were against mine and kissed the girl harder.

I opened my eyes looked up when I saw Mei get up. She walked past the crowd and headed towards the exit.

I disconnected my lips and leant my back against the chair. "You can leave now." I said not even looking at the girl on my lap.

"But we were just getting started." She purred. I raised my brow at her when she ran her hand down my exposed chest. Normally I'd take her to bed but I wasn't in the mood.

Or was it because she wasn't the one I wanted.

"Leave." I repeated.

She rolled her eyes and stood up. I let out a sigh and leaned my head back against the wall.

"Mistake?" I scoffed.

"What was?" Hoseok asked. I looked over at him. "Everything." I told him and took the drink from his hand.
