paradise
Evangeline huffed out in annoyance as she walked out of the classroom and back to her dorm. It was only Monday and the young girl began dreading the week awaiting her. She plumped down onto the bed, her mind clouded with nothing. Suddenly, she shot up and pulled out her phone from her pocket, and to her dismay, she had no notifications. Sighing, Evangeline sunk down into the bed again and kicked off her flats, deciding to watch some videos of cats.
A head popped around the corner of the door, dark brown eyes settling on her small form. "H-Hey, Elizabeth," she smiled, and watched as her roommate waved before entering the vacant bathroom. A few minutes later, Elizabeth stepped out of the bathroom, a tight-lipped smile on her face.
"Evangeline... Can you do me a favor, please?" Elizabeth asked, rummaging through her red, croc Birkin bag. Evangeline nodded and stood up, making her way towards Elizabeth who handed her a small, wrapped box.
"Can you drop this off at Mia's dorm room, please?" Elizabeth said, looking away from Evangeline. She nodded and didn't plan on asking why when she remembered what Mia told her today at class.
She blew out a small breath and left the room, making her way to Mia's room. The hallway was fairly quiet, with only small chatters coming from either side and that's when Evangeline noticed a redhead skipping her way to her. 'Oh, not Jessica...' Evangeline thought and discreetly moved her hair to cover her face. However, Jessica had seen her from a mile away and thought it'd be a good idea to confront her.
"Evangeline! How are you?" Jessica chirped, an evil smile playing on her lips.
She flashed a fake smile in return and responded with a quick "Good," and began walking away when Jessica grabbed onto her wrist. Evangeline turned towards her, pulling on her arm, trying to get Jessica off.
"Sooo, what happened on Thursday?" Jessica giggled, peering at the girl intensely. Evangeline sighed, her face turning scarlet red, "I-It was n-nothing," she whispered, wishing that the school grounds would just swallow her whole.
The redhead let go of her wrist shook her head no, "Come on!" she began, "There's nothing wrong with doing a lil something with the teachers, y'know," Jessica would know. It was no secret that she was sleeping with her Chemistry teacher, Mr. Wilson.
Evangeline was about to spew some words when an arm snaked around her waist and pulled her into an embrace.
"Hey, dollface."
Nathan's mouth curved into a smile and Evangeline hid into his neck, her face flushed red from embarrassment. Jessica stood there awkwardly, scratching the back of her head when Nathan turned his attention towards her. "Why are you still here, you whore? Scram," he scowled at Jessica as if she were a dog. Evangeline's and Jessica's eyes both widened and Jessica finally scrambled away.
