"Beg me not to take you in front of all these fucking people," he whispered, tightening his grip around her neck.
Her breath hitched, unable to say anything to him. She felt his fingers dance their way up to her thigh before trickling towards the yo...

𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 woke up in a cold sweat, her father's screams still piercing her ears as the other car collided with his. Her breathing fastened and she sat upright blocking out the memories of her wasted childhood. She scanned the room and saw Mia, Elizabeth's girlfriend, snuggled up with Eliza. She smiled warmly, she and Eliza had gotten close last afternoon and they both learned about each other.
Quietly and carefully, she pushed her weight off the bed and walked towards the skirt she wore last night. Evangeline retrieved her schedule, remember she had economy first class. She rolled her eyes, remembering how annoying her teacher for that class was, Mr. Colter, always nagging and asking her questions. 'I can't sleep anymore,' she thought to herself and unlocked her phone, seeing a few voice messages from Connor. Her eyes lit up and she eagerly put on her airpods and listened.
"Hey, E. Sorry I ended the call abruptly, had to help my father with some stuff, y'know." The young girl sighed in relief and she relaxed her body, playing the second message. "Anyways, hope you're not busy. I really miss you, like a lot." Evangeline furrowed her eyebrows, perplexed as she heard Connor's voice choking up as if he was tearing up.
Tossing her phone on the bed, she entered the bathroom and took a cold shower. The water flowed down her skin then down to her thighs. She shivered, not because of the cold water, but because she recalled Nathan's touch on her skin. Her legs shook beneath her and she steadily got out, wrapping herself into a towel and drying herself.
'I'm so ugly.' She thought, staring herself down in the mirror. Evangeline hated the way she looked, constantly comparing her body to the people around her, just like how her mother did. Oh, how she wished she had Elizabeth's blonde hair and spotless skin and now Mia's gorgeous curves and plump lips.
"Don't say that, I think you're really pretty."
Evangeline turned around, startled. There, stood Mia, frowning at Eva's words. She took this moment to study her roommate's girlfriend. She was taller than her and her dark skin complimented her black curls so well. She stared into her eyes, mesmerized by the golden specks in her almond brown eyes. She was stunning.
Mia noticed and winked, "I'm tak-"
The two girls turned around as they heard shuffling on the other side of the room. Mia made her way to Elizabeth and embraced her, kissing her on her forehead. "Goodmorning!" Eliza yawned, stretching her arms before falling back onto her pillow. Evangeline looked back towards the mirror, staring hopelessly into her reflection.
She sauntered back into the bathroom and grabbed the hairdryer. She dried her brown locks, enjoying the calming breeze from the machine a bit too much. Walking out of the bathroom, Eva could feel a pair of eyes tracking her moves. She looked up and Mia's eyes quickly averted away and pretended to read something off her phone. Eva thought nothing of it.
Her arms pulled open the closet door and she stumbled back. "Whe-where are my clothes?" she asked, her words lingering to Elizabeth. The blonde girl walked over to her, grinning. "I threw them out!" she beamed to Evangeline. Her eyes widened and she felt water sliding down her cheeks. Eliza noticed this and quickly said, "No-no, don't be upset.. I can pick up clothes for you and we can go shopping in the afternoon!" Eva nodded, not knowing how to feel. 'They're just clothes, why am I like this?'
She settled with the brown pleated skirt and matching sweater picked out for her by Elizabeth. Her eyes found their way at the mirror again, and this time she appreciated how she looked. Running her fingers through her pigtails, she grabbed her backpack and shyly said goodbye to her friends.
About 5 minutes later, she found the economy class and questioned if she had memory loss. She walked into the large classroom, taking a seat at the front of the class. Eventually, the class began flooding in, and she smiled as Elizabeth took a seat behind her. Mr. Colter walked in, his eyes fixated on the brunette's seat.
The professor walked to the front of the room, analyzing every one of his students and began speaking, "This week and next week, we will have a very special and experienced guest educating us on how it's like to build a company up and how to maintain a stable business." A girl in the second row raised her arm, asking "Who?" and the professor smirked.
"Leonardo Garza," Mr. Colter, said proudly.
A chorus of gasps spread across the room and Eva cocked her head towards Elizabeth. "W-who is that?" Elizabeth rolled her eyes, "Of course you don't know!" she exclaimed before squealing. "He's like, one of the richest guys in this state!" The young girl still had no idea who he was and shrugged her shoulders, uninterested and confused why everyone was excited. He's just some rich guy, so what? Probably a trust fund baby jerk!
It had been 10 minutes since Mr. Colter announced who was coming, and Evangeline felt her eyes shutter when there was a knock on the door. The girls in the class sat upright in their chairs, fixing their mascara and lipstick. The professor instructed him to come in with his fingers and Evangeline looked up.

Leonardo walked in, his face emotionless, not even a trace of enthusiasm laced. It was like a meeting to him, he's done this countless times and they all went the same way. Girls doing anything and everything they could to get his attention and the boys asking the most stupid questions about money.
"Hello, students," he said in a hard, deep voice. The classroom was silent and his bodyguards stood by the door, the only sound that could be heard was Mr. Colter fiddling with his pen and papers.
The class went on for ages, at least for Evangeline. She seemed to be the only one not interested as the only thing she had in the notebook were doodles of little cats instead of professional notes about running a business. "What employers look for in people, is respect, experience, and the ambition to improve and learn new skills too," the businessman trailed on, but then, he noticed the young girl with her head down; obviously not doing what the rest of the class were doing. He hummed, stopping what he was saying and he walked towards her.
Evangeline was too busy, engulfed in a world of little kittens that she drew to even notice the classroom had gone silent and everyone was looking at her. Leonardo observed her, from her outfit to her hair and he felt himself bulge. "What employers don't want is, disrespect and immaturity. Like what this girl is doing," he said slamming his fist onto her desk, causing her notebook to slide off the table.
Evangeline whimpered as she looked up at him, cowering her body in fear, and tears brimmed her eyes. The frightened girl looked away, but he grabbed her chin forcefully and their eyes met each other. "Are you going to say anything?" he roared, scaring the poor girl even more.
She frantically shook her head, getting a tsk in response. "I'm not the one supposed to this, but I will not take any form of disrespect. Do you understand?"
She nodded, embarrassed and ashamed.
"You're seeing me after class, and I expect an apology from you."
