𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 got off his bike, noticing lots of stares. She peered at Nathan, noticing how unfazed he was as he marched towards the school. She followed him meekly and noticed how he walked right past a lonely Lufer, not even sparing a single glance towards him. "My baby's pretty fun, huh?" Nathan asked, slowing his pace to match Eva's. Evangeline cocked her head to the side, "Y-you have a g-girlfriend?" she mumbled, crinkling her nose in confusion.
Nathan shook his head, "No, my motorbike," he began, receiving a nod from her, "I don't mind letting you ride it again, what do you say?" he finished, raising an eyebrow. Evangeline grinned, eagerly nodding her head. As if being watched, she could feel the back of her neck getting colder and turned around to meet her gaze.
Mia strolled towards the two, a sour expression on her face at the sight of Nathan. "Hey, Eva," Mia beamed, placing her hand on the nearby locker. The brunette smiled, chirping a light "Hi!" She couldn't help but notice Nathan rolling his eyes before turning his gaze to her. "I'll see you tonight, dollface," he whispered into her ear, shooting daggers towards Mia and finally walked away. "So you're dating Myers?" Mia asked. Evangeline bit her lip, then frowned as she mumbled, "N-No, we're just um, p-partners for a project."
Mia pressed her lips together, a breathy chuckle escaping her lips as she blurted out, "Yeah right, like you weren't in his bed last night." Evangeline gasped, stumbling backwards as tears brimmed her eyes. "W-what are you trying t-to say?" she whispered, biting her bottom lip. She trembled as Mia stared her down, letting out an exasperated sigh. Evangeline felt her tears beginning to pour. Blinking back her tears, she scurried off to the bathroom with a heavy heart. Mia stood frozen in her place, watching Evangeline walk away from her, pangs of guilt erupting in her.

Evangeline shifted in her seat uncomfortably seeing Lufer stumble in, a visible bruise on the left side of his face. His eyes met hers and he swallowed, sitting in the farthest seat from her. She smiled to herself, humming as she observed the clouds moving gently away from her.
It was now lunchtime and Eva giggled at her stomach growling. She walked out of the school building and towards the dorm building, only to be stopped by Nathan. He grinned sheepishly at her, "Get on, Hartz, we're getting lunch," he ordered, moving out of the way so Eva could sit on the vehicle. The girl beamed with happiness, gladly getting on and slipping on the helmet.
Warms hands wrapped around his torso as Nathan accelerated, the wind too slow to match their fast pace. They stopped in front of a local cafe, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and vanilla enveloping Eva's nose. Nathan walked behind her, his arms in his pockets as Eva read the menu. Her eyes danced through the menu, her bambi eyes landing on the words 'glazed doughnut.' She jumped up happily, pulling onto Nathan's leather jacket, "I want the doughnut, please!!" she squealed, remembering the last time she had a pastry.
An enigmatic smile was plastered on Nathan's face and he nodded, walking towards the empty counter. Eva stood, counting the seconds only to feel a pair of dark eyes follow her. She was about to turn around, but Nathan was already walking towards her, a brown paper bag in his hand. Her face lit up, reaching out for the bag. "Manners, dollface," Nathan tucked in his chin, moving his hand away.
She looked into his eyes innocently, mumbling a quick "Please?" then "Thank you!" as Nathan handed over the doughnut. His hands clasped around hers and pulled her out of the store and back onto the motorcycle. She crumpled the bag in her hand, sneakily placing it into his jacket. Nathan turned around at the movement, however, he was distracted by something on her face. She looked away, feeling uncomfortable.
"You have something on your face," Nathan whispered, leaning closer. Her lips parted, about to say something but Nathan had beat her to it. He licked the corner of her lips, cleaning the glaze syrup and smirked at her bright pink cheeks.
She looked away, noticing a familiar man staring right at her. She straightened her back to get a better view and saw him. His eyes pierced into hers, making her cower behind Nathan as he told her to get ready. She leaned into his back, her eyes closed and cheeks still red from Nathan's doing.

Eva walked out of the classroom, bobbing her head up and down, the lyrics from 'Radio' engraved into her brain. She walked towards her dorm room, forgetting Nathan and the project altogether. Opening the doors, she smiled as she saw Elizabeth sat on a bed in a hoodie, presumably on her phone. "Hi, Eliza!" Evangeline sang, tossing her backpack onto the floor.
"Eva,"
Her mood instantly dropped, thinning her lips and turning to walk into the bathroom. Mia grabbed her arm, her eyes wide and a layer of pleading melted onto them. Evangeline sighed, slightly irritated and looked at her, waiting for her to carry on.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that this morning," Eva nodded, feeling as though her voice was lost, "I was just scared he touched what was-"
