y/ns dad looked at kobe seeing he was still leaning on y/n with his head slightly turned smiling waiting for him to answer so he took a deep breath then roughly exhaled and rolled his eyes

Y/d: twenty five

kobe let a girl girlish scream before laughing and running around the car moving his arms all over the place making y/n laugh then once he stopped he playfully pulled his phone out of the car

he put his phone back in his pocket laughing again until his stomach started hurting and he bent over laughing some more until he smacked the back of his head and he stood up straightening his face looking at him making y/n laugh even more then once she stopped she caught her breath and fanned her eyes

Y/d: fine anyways she was just coming back from getting some earrings and she was walking down the street so happy and smiling at how pretty they were and i was working construction and she accidentally dropped them in the wet cement she was so sad so i went to her and i took her to claire's to buy some more and she thanked me then once i dropped her off at her house she kissed my cheek and i just lit up and i knew i loved her so after that i started seeing her everyday we didn't tell anyone about our relationship until she was eighteen some liked it some didn't but we didn't care we were in love soon we moved in our own home and when she was twenty we had y/n our life was complete we went to see the dried cement every year on our anniversary

when he finished speaking he looked at y/n seeing her face was in aww while kobe was on the verge of tears holding his laugh back then her dad sighed and crossed his arms still looking at kobe making him bust out laughing

kobe was still laughing now sitting on the ground with tears coming down his face and holding his stomach but y/n and her dad just shook their heads then walked on the opposite side of the car and he opened the door for her letting her get in

y/n didn't say anything she just shook her head yes and her dad shook his head closing her door then getting in the car himself after kobe stopped laughing he got in the car as well wiping his face then driving off in the middle of the drive he held his hand out and y/n grabbed it while her dad watched them slightly smiling then kobes favorite song came on so he turned the radio all the way up rapping it and yelling in y/ns ear then once she tried to pull him away he grabbed her face and kept kissing her over and over again still paying attention to the road then once she laughed he let go and just went back to holding her hand smiling

Y/d: damn you kids remind me of me and your mom

when he said that kobe stopped at a red light then looked back at him with a small smile on his face that kept slightly growing

Y/d: don't even think about making a joke
Kobe: ok ok my bad

kobe turned back around and when the light turned green he drove off then he squeezed y/ns hand so she looked at him and he moved his head to the side over and over again trying to tell her to come closer so once she did he whispered in her ear "you think it was before or after she was legal that they had sex" y/n ignored the question and moved away making kobe laugh then she used her other had to hit him making him laugh some more

Y: none he's just being dumb making more jokes

when she said that she looked at kobe and he was looking back at her basically giving her a stop lying face but she rolled her eyes and looked back ahead making him smile after a while they made it to the house and he parked the car in the driveway

Kobe: don't steal shit i'm kidding
Y/d: i'm gonna go back to jail fucking with you
Kobe: my fault
Y: yes dad this is where we live
Y/d: wow this is amazing but why are we here
Kobe: i just gotta grab some real quick but can y'all come out the car with me

y/n rolled her eyes getting out of the car and they walked to the door opening it the inside was pitch black until they turned the lights on and a bunch of people popped out yelling surprise
