y/n let out a small laugh and laugh and they caught up to her dad and he got in the back while kobe drove and y/n got in the passenger seat and they drove to the hotel he wanted so y/n got out walking inside to register him in while he was just in the car with kobe and they were sitting in uncomfortable silence until he stuck his head between the seats scaring kobe making him jump a little before playing it off like he was playing with his twists

Y/d: how long you known my daughter
Kobe: seven years sir
Y/d: and why aren't y'all married
Kobe: long ass story

Kobe: i was threatened by some girls so i couldn't do it

before her dad could finish y/n came out and he got out the car as well as kobe

Y: ok great well your room is ready i got it for at least four months after that if you decide you want to leave then so be it but if not i can always get you a nice house

y/ns dad hugged her while giving kobe a death stare then she handed him the keys and he walked inside while they got in the car driving off

Kobe: your dad is interesting
Y: i'm just glad y'all are getting along
Kobe: how does it feel to have him out and just now being introduced to him
Y: it feels weird it's like i'm trying to catch up to something while everyone is already there
Kobe: well i'm sure the more you get to know him the easier it'll be for everything to click
Y: maybe we should go back and get him i think it'll help if i hung out with him at least just for today

kobe gave y/n a fake smile trying to make it look real as possible then he turned back around going back to the hotel when they made it y/n got out the car going to his room while kobe waited in the car a few minutes past and she walked out the building with him and they both got in the car then without talking kobe drove off going to the nearest park and they all sat around on benches not saying much until the sun went down

Y: so how was it like in prison
Y/d: it sucked because i knew i was missing out on watching my little girl grow up
Y: oh well that little girl is gone now
Y/d: yea she is but i'm here now and i get to see you and that's all i care about

y/ns dad got up walking to kobe and standing in front of him so kobe stood up as well pushing her dad back some then he just looked at him a little longer before laughing

kobe handed y/n the keys and his phone so she got up walking to the car and while she was walking away kobe was looking at her butt until her dad smacked the back of his head
