Chapter-19

Rey chuckled joining everyone who were now teasing Twinkle and Siddharth.

"Badmash!"

Rey heard all his bhabhi's say in unison and winked at them,

"Kya ab main apni bhabhiyon ko bhi tang nahi kar sakta. Ye mera birthright hai."

Amma giggled slapping his cheek lovingly when he hugged her from back kissing her forehead.

"Nautanki!"

Ashish and Swaron said in unison muttering under their breath and he agve them a glare making the four chuckle. Ashish told Taani fondly chuckling at rey,

"Taani, sahi mein, abhi bhi warn kar raha hu. Bahot bada panga le rahi ho iske sath rehke. Pagal kardega tujhe."

Rey rolled his eyes giving a fake punch to him and Taani thought with a small smile,

Vo to already kardiya hai.

But instead decided to say,

"Ashish bhaiya, pehle warn nahi kiya aapne. Ab to le liya panga."

Everyone burst out laughing at her answer and Rey's shocked face, Sharon high-fived Taani, and he threwback,

"Excuse me!"

Taani showed him her tongue teasingly and he huffed looking away while Sanskar hugged Taani from back,

"I love you bhabhi!"

He chuckled and she pulled his cheeks from the front. Rey and everybody's eyes lit up seeing her finally opening up with the family and showing her side that was hidden all along. They all were laughing and chatting. The dinner continued going one while everyone was waiting for the moon to rise. Rey was introducing Taani to the guests and the other family members were doing the same.

They were caught off guard with Harshali and Vansh's voice who said pointing at the sky,

"Chaand aa gaya!"

Every single person's gaze turned to the moon seeing it coming out of hiding behind the clouds. Their faces turned into awe seeing the moon and Amna recited the prayers, wishing for her family's happiness and long life. rey heard Taani from beside him,

"Kitna khubsoorat hai na?"

He looked at her, gazing at her intensely and saying totally lost,

"Sach mein, kitna khubsoorat hai."

She looked at him only to blush when his gaze was stuck on her. The whole terrace was soon filled with people wishing each other 'Eid Mubarak' and hugging. Everyone fed sweets to each other before family members gave the gifts to the guests and hosted the dinner for them.

While the guests were eating, Karan and all the family members gave gifst to each other. Rey lenaed towards Taani whispering her ears when Taani kissed Vansh on his cheek giving him his 'Eidi' or Eid gift,

"Usko to eidi mil gayi, meri eidi ka kya?"

Taani looked down and called Harshali. She came rushing upto her and Taani picked her in her arms,

"Eid Mubarak chachi ki jaan."

"Eid Mubarak chachi!"

Harshali said hugging her tightly, Taani kissed her cheek and said,

"Chachu bhi apni Eidi maang rahe hai, unhe Eid Mubarak kardo."

Rey's eyes widened when Harshali smield widely and bent down kissing him. His smile widened and he wished her kissing her fondly on her cheeks and gobbling her,
