Chapter-15

Her breath hitched everytime he called her love. Rey was waiting patiently for her answer still looking at his screen wallpaper where her picture was being displayed. Giving up, she scrunched her eyes close and admitted finally,

"Yes I am missing you."

Now it was his turn to still at his place, his heart burst in joy hearing her words and the urge to see her right now deepened more if that was possible. He gulped caressing her pic on the screen and said with a heavy voice in urgency,

"I am coming there, I wanna meet you now."

Taani was shocked with his sudden statement, Rey stood up abruptly closing his system and taking the blazer from the back of the chair still on call he was going to walk out but halted when he heard her voice,

"Rey! Stop!"

He stood there silently, waiting for her to say when he heard her small sad voice,

"We can't meet today."

He frowned sulking, and asked irritated, she could hear the desperation in his voice,

"But why?"

She felt sad at his irritated and angry tone, and muttered in a small tone,

"Mummy is taking me shopping for my stuff that I need after our wedding."

He sighed hearing her and felt sorry that he shouted just now, without knowing the fact that she was already upset. Of course, she is going shopping with her mother, what could be more upsetting knowing she won't be able to buy stuff of her own choice, rather her mother's.

"I am sorry, I shouted at you. I just wanted to meet you so bad, since morning I am missing you and when you said you can't meet me, I got angry."

A small smile graced her lips at his words, and she nodded in understanding replying,

"It's fine Reyansh! I understand. In fact, I want to meet you too, I don't want to go with her."

She admitted it to him, expressing her emotions for the first time on her own with any coercion. She has understood the fact that she needs to communicate with him openly, if she wants to make this marriage work and put equal efforts like him.

Rey was happy with the progress and smiled hearing that she wants to meet him too, that's when an idea clicked him,

"Idea! Taani, you won't have to go with your mother, rather I will take you shopping today. We can buy the stuff for you together, whatever you need after our marriage."

Taani bit her lips tensed and said a little scared,

"But agar achanak aapne mummy ko bola, to unhe ye lagega mene aapko bola hai mujhe shopping le jane ko, she knows I don't like to shop with her."

He shook his head at her fear, he needs to do something about this soon too, otherwise Taani would keep fearing her parents even after their marriage,

"Taani, do you trust me?"

He heaved a sigh of relief and happiness washed over him when she answered almost immeditaley,

"Ye kesa question hai? Of course I do."

He said smiling,

"Then just gimme an hour, I will set everything. You just get ready for our shopping."

Taani nodded happily, a new excitement in her tone,

"Okay, I am! Bye!"

"Bye love! Meet you soon."
