this book took me so much time, so many scrapped ideas and i just want to say thank you so much for reading. i know that writing two endings wasn't really great for my plot buuuuuut it was originally gonna be tommy endgame but i wanted to explore more for the newt fans !!

don't get me wrong, i wanted her to end up with newt the whole time, but since i wrote this book i had the vision in my head of how i wanted it to end, and i wrote and rewrote it tens upon tens of times, trying to make sure i made the right decision, and maybe you think i didn't, but that's okay. <3

so i want to thank you, each and every one of you (maybe not those of you who dropped the book at newt's pregnancy scare KJSDHFS), but especially to those of you who have supported me from the beginning, i truly do appreciate you. i see comments on this book and just feel astonished, i've written tens of books which never got reads to so have people who were willing to read two of mine, plus the extras book? you're amazing people, truly.

so without further ado, here are some people who have supported me for so long, and have helped me even without realising it. every single comment really warms my heart because i never thought i'd finish the first book, let alone two!

you guys might never read these acknowledgements, but they're here as a token of my gratefulness.

when i wrote the first five chapters of this book, i met four amazing girls, who i don't speak much to anymore, and i don't think they continued reading past the first two chapters, but they're worth mentioning for all the support they gave me, and i don't think i'd have continued writing the maze trials without them. so thank you, paige, amelia, sophie and lila <3

i know not all of these people read to the end, but they're some of the users who have constantly voted and commented and given me motivation. this book took a long time to produce because i've taken so much time to live my life, i've fallen in and out of love with the franchise tens of times while writing but i've always come back to writing.

there's something you guys should know. if you've read this far, you've inspired me and changed my life. forever. when i started writing these books i was busy with my life but i was set on studying business management at university, after writing and realising that people genuinely enjoy my writing, laugh and get butterflies from the characters, i feel like i can genuinely reach and touch an audience. next summer i'm going to university where i'm studying for a degree in english and creative writing. you've all changed me as a person and let me truly chase my aspirations and dreams, i never thought i'd be brave enough. thank you so, so much.
