They sat on the couch. Neil held her hand softly and started doing the dressing.
Avni winced a bit on the application of antiseptic.
Neil: (blowing on the wound) waise avni... Main na thoda sa hairan hoon...
Avni: (frowns) woh kyu?
Neil: matlab... Tumne kal chaku wale ko dara diya aur injection se khud hi dar ke bhaag gyi (giggling)
Avni: (pouts) haan to... Tumne to zabardasti mujhe injection lagwa diya tha aur upar se aaj subah room mein bhi nahi the...
Neil: haan woh police station se call aaya tha... Main yeh rakh ke aata hoon.
Avni: (nods) (to herself) meri sautan hai tumhara police station (making faces)

Avni nods and both went down stairs.
They saw Anurag sitting with them.
Avni: (hugging him) bhai...
Anurag: kaisi hai tu... Aur yeh sab kya stunt show chal raha tha tumhara?
Avni: aapko kisne bataya? Neil ne? (Glaring at him)
Neil swallowed a lump and acted like sealing his lips.
Neil: maine nahi...
Bebe: maine bataya hai puttar...
Avni looked down and smiled a bit.
Anurag: chal abhi breakfast kar lein?
Avni nods.
All went to the table.
Avni sat in the centre of Neil and Anurag.
Neil took a morsel to feed her. Avni widen her eyes signalling him 'all are here'.
Neil being Neil royally ignored her and held her mouth to feed her.
Avni took a bite.
Shweta: ahem ahem Bebe.... Aaj kal koi kuch zyada hi care nahi kar raha? (Teasing Neil)
Neil gave a 'nothing happened' look.
Neil: aaj to right hand pe chot aayi hai... Main khila sakta hoon... Mera haq hai yeh...
Anurag: jija ji... Aapko nahi lagta aaj koi zyada hi haq jata raha hai
All started laughing. While avni felt embarrassed and Neil gave a whatever look and continued feeding her.
Anurag: waise avni ka tumne bohut galat kiya...
Avni: maine kya kiya bhai?
Anurag: hospital ko chidiya ghar bana diya (giggling) aur doctor ko football...
Neil: bhai 'gol matol football' to be precise.
Avni: Neill!!
All other burst out in fits of laughter hearing this.
Avni made a sad pout. .
Shweta: awws.. Meri bacchi ko koi tang nahi karega... (Taking avni in a side hug)
Avni too hugged her back and poked tongue at Neil.
Neil be like.... 'Meri maa chura li tum ne'🥺 koi na main bhi neela ma pe daaka dalunga😌😈
