"Thank you for telling her." He says and she nods before leaving the room.

"Taylor...Taylor...wake up," Her sleeping gets disturbed as she hears his tensed voice buzzing near her head.

"What happened?" She sits up abruptly.

"Joy is crying in her sleep!"

"Then just try to take her out of it? Why are you here?" She frowns and gets up from the couch to go to the bedroom.

"How do I take her out of it?"

"It's not a hard thing to do."

"You're acting as if I'm expert with babies."

"Then be an expert since you have a baby now."

"It's just my first day okay? No need to be rude."

Taylor gives him one last look before turning around to enter the room.

"It's alright sweetie, mommy is here. Sshh it's okay," She runs her fingers through Joy's hair to make her feel safe.

"Daddy," She whispers in her sleep.

"Daddy is here too. Everything is fine. Everyone loves you. My sweet little girl," She strokes her cheeks and kisses her head. She seems to calm down hearing her mother's soothing voice and stops crying. But she holds onto her neck tightly.

Taylor sighs and lays down on the sideways beside her.

"Turn off the lights," She tells Joe as she gets under the blanket as well.

"But- should I go to the couch now?" He asks her feeling perplexed.

"No stay here. Or else she will cry if she doesn't see you beside in the morning," She replies with an angry tone.

"Okay..." He turns off the lights and lays down on the other side, with Joy in between them.

Few minuets pass by and none of them make any sound until Joe decides to speak up.

"Taylor?"

...

"Taylor are you awake?" He whispers.

"What's wrong now?" She answers.

"I knew you were awake."

...

"Taylor?"

"God! What is it?"

"When did this happen?"

"What happened?"

"This miracle sleeping between us," He catches her off guard with his question.

"I don't know. I'm not even sure if it's yours," She replies and he chuckles.

"Please tell me."

The room goes silent. She doesn't utter anything. Joe decides to speak up again but then she answers.

"I think it's the last time when... We didn't use any protection and I forgot to take the pills."

"Wow."

"Yeah wow," She rolls her eyes and he chuckles again.

"When did you find out?"

"After about seven weeks."

"You should've informed me."

...

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"There was literary a whole ass hate trend going over me, calling me slut and gold digger for giving you divorce and saying no to your proposal. So do you really except that person to go in front of the media and announce that she's pregnant with her ex's child? That sounds pathetic."
