Blinky nervously spoke as he frantically checked the area around them: Are you sure this is wise master Jim

Jim spoke to his trainer in a calming manner but you could still hear the fear in his voice: not really Blinky but right now it is the best chance we've got

Aaarrrggghhh Who was also cautious: Jim sure that leaving other friends behind was a good idea?

Jim: no I don't but I didn't wanna put their lives in danger I mean Mary and Darci i've already been through enough today I don't want them to go through anything more

Jim was referring to the pixie incident that happened earlier in the day, where angor rot unleashed a horde of pixies which caused people to see their worst fears. Unfortunately for Mary and Darci they saw their worst fears, for Darci it was a fear of losing control of her powers which would cause her to catch fire and have the skin melted from her bones and for Mary it was equally as terrifying her greatest fear was being left alone it probably came from The fact that her parents were never around they even forgot her birthday sometimes. Regardless the girls were in no shape to fight and Claire was busy trying to comfort them

Angor called out from the top of a roof: you came Hunter, and you brought your friends

Jim looked up at the assassin that robbed him of his hand: well you can't expect me to take precautions you've probably got golems set up around the place

Angor did his maniacal chuckle as he jumped down from the roof inches away from his prey, Aaarrrggghhh got ready in a fighting stance but to his surprise the troll assassin disarmed himself. This confused both Blinky and aaarrrggghhh because for years they had heard that angor rot was a ruthless killer

Angor placed out his hand: did you bring what I need?

Jim nodded as he reached into his bag and pulled out two vials of blood one Strickler and the other was his mothers, he Managed to get the blood thanks to the hospital and the fact that both his mother and Strickler were bloody donators

Angor Took the two vials: good now we begin.

Angor Started to draw symbols on the ground using the blood once he was finished with his scribbling he began to say in ancient Enchantment and the blood that began to glow yellow just like his eyes.

Angor: it will take a minute for the binding spell to be broken

Blinky whispered to his student: how do we know he's telling the truth and he's not just trying to fool you

Jim whispered: because if he wants me to get the ring I've got to know I can trust him to leave my mother out of this and this is my best chance

Blinky still didn't trust their newfound "ally" however he kept most of his thoughts to himself out of fear that the legendary assassin would overhear and feel insulted. As ritual The ritual continued Jim couldn't help but wonder how Angor rot Lost his soul in the first place

Jim not sure if this was a good idea or not so he hesitantly spoke: if you don't mind me asking how did you lose your soul?

Angor Immediately turned to gym with a face written with pure anger and hatred it was on this is it this assassin was more like a wild animal then a trained killer

Aaarrrggghhh getting ready to fight: Aaarrrgghh don't think that was a good idea

However to everyone's surprise once angry troll calmed down and went back to focusing on the ritual and he spoke: my village was under siege by the war for the service I tried to help as many of my people as I could but I didn't have the strength to fight against Gum-Gums so out of desperation I seek out Help of the Eldridge Queen.

Blinky and aaarrrggghhh both were shaking by fear of the name because they know who it was and what she was capable of however Jim didn't notice their reactions

Angor continued his story: when I found her I gave her an offering made from my own flesh however she used my offering to make a ring and steal my soul into it and ordered me to kill off all of Martin's champions.

Jim was confused: why did you try to get it back?

Angor was angered by the boys ignorance as he yelled at him: because whoever holds my ring I cannot harm them or disobey them I feel so empty inside I do not feel guilt or happiness this is no way to live for anyone

The blood stopped growing as it faded into the floor leaving no trace of the blood or the ritual that had just transpired.

Jim feeling sorry for his enemy: I will and I'm sorry for what happened to you I'll get you your ring back is that way you can live your own life again

Angor doesn't say anything he just leaps away into the night.
