Little mask, so flimsy and black
What do you cover, collect, and gain
While they hack hack hack?
Little mask, peeking out from under my nose
What security do you promise
When the evidence could be
splattered on my clothes?
Little mask, i've lost you twice now
Down the rabbit hole of my laundry chute
And pride.
Little mask, would they put you on too
-Would they strap you close-
If they knew from which disease we truly hide?
