"I wasn't going to say it but yes, how did you know?" I asked

"Molly read me one of Fred's letters about the breakup, sent just yesterday. Pretty interesting." He said, an amused smirk crossing his face.

"What was interesting might I ask?" I said

"You arent really broken up." He said

"Fred wrote about the plan?" I asked

"No, but Remus and I weren't born yesterday. We lied to plenty of adults in our hay day and your boy Freddie isn't always the best at lying." Sirius joked

"You and Remus? As in you guys are still good together?" I asked

"Yes, yes we are. And I take it that you and Fred are to?" He asked

"We are now. I broke up with him for a while for his safety but we just got back together." I said

"His safety? What threatened him?" He asked

"My mother partially. Umbridge, the new professor, also partially."

"Your mother threatened him? Did she talk to you?" He asked, sudden worry spreading through his voice.

"Not directly? Well yes directly but not until recently. I sent her a letter first so I guess it was me." I said

"You sent her a letter? Sorry, what did you say" Sirius said, slightly losing his temper.

"I told her about how Fred and I broke up, I wasn't seeing him. It was over. Now she thinks we're split and then she won't threaten him." I said

"Or she will only threaten him more." Sirius mumbled just loud enough for me to hear.

"Look I'm sorry but I had to do something. I couldn't lose him." I said

"Fine. Just don't do it again. I will talk to Remus later and we can all talk. How are you otherwise?" He asked

"Honestly? Terrified." I said

"About?"

"This 'upcoming war' and how I'm going to prepare for it." I said

"I remember when I was about your age, the first wizarding war was on the verge of beginning. I remember being absolutely petrified, constantly waiting." He said, looking down to his feet.

"How did you stop that feeling? The constant feeling of fear?" I asked

"Stay with those you love, you could lose them faster than you think. Stick with your friends, they'll be the best family you have." He said, a small smile forming

"Thank you Sirius, for everything." I said before quickly hugging the older man.

"We better get to dinner, Molly will be less than pleased with us for making her wait." He said with a small chuckle.

At dinner that night Molly handed out presents, a small package for everyone with various knitted presents. I opened mine to find a jumper with quidditch hoops on it.

"A snitch? Thank you Mrs. Weasley." Harry said, obviously a bit confused before a huge smile appeared on his thin face.

"Harry, I got quidditch hoops. We're twins." I joked

"No we're twins." Fred and George said simultaneously

The whole table burst into little fits of conversation before Remus reached across the table handing me a box from him and Sirius.

"What's this?" I asked

"Just a little something for our favorite order member." He said with a smile
