Rosettas POV

"Hey auntie we're here" I said excitedly

"Hey Rosie. Cass" she said with a smile

"How are you feeling" Cass asked my aunt

"Much better hun thank you"

"That's good" we both smile at her

"Oh and thank you both by the way for the gifts for the twins. John had a heart attack while trying to put them somewhere in each of their nurseries." She chuckles

"I'm sorry" I tell her sarcastically

"Well don't be. It was a lovely thought. And Cass I have to ask you something" my aunt said and I eyed her suspiciously but left it at that

"I'm going to go get a drink. Want anything while I'm out" I ask them both while leaving the room to give them some privacy.

Going down to the cafeteria I saw River by the check in and waited

"Hey Riv" I greeted her

"Hey. I didn't know you'd be here" she said and hugged me.

"Yeah. I was going to the cafeteria to get a drink want to come before going up to see Auntie" I ask and she nods.

"So what we're you going to get" Riv asks

"A Snapple maybe" I said as I went to a vending machine

I put in my money and got the grape flavor.

"Can you get me one too please" she asked and I nod.

I ended up buying Cass a lemon seltzer water and my auntie one as well since that is both of their favorite drinks

Cassandras POV

"What's up" I ask

"What do you mean what's up" Gemma said giving me a knowing look

"I've gotten offers for next semester in the fall to transfer to a different college that's out of the city"

"Are you going to take the offer"

"No. I could never do that to Rose. I-I love her" I admit blushing slightly

"Would you fight for her" Gemma asked me completely serious

"Without a doubt."

"Good" she smiled

"My niece adores you. She would be heart broken if you left" I nod.

Speaking of my girlfriend she walked back in the room with River and four drinks

"I got you your favorite" she said handing me my favorite lemon seltzer water it also happened to be Gemmas favorite too.

"Thank you baby" I said and gave her a quick kiss

She just beamed

"So what did you two talk about" River asked

"I asked Cass if she would do my makeup for my wedding" I look at her shocked but quickly recover.

Rose giggled while River had an amused smirk on her face

"Auntie yes Cass isn't bad at doing makeup but for your wedding. Really" River huffed out in laughter while my baby had a smile on her face after her fit of giggles were done

"Fine don't tell us" River said dramatically covering her face with her arm.

"So do you know when you and the babies get to go home"

So the thing was Gemma and John are keeping the names a surprise until after they settle the babies into their nurseries. I also helped by painting the nurseries for the twins. I may go to school for primarily business but I am also taking a few advanced art courses and design.

"Today honey" Gemma had told Rose. And I mean it had been about four days since they were born

"Hello everyone" we hear from the door

"Hello Gemms" John said kissing her cheek.

John was still in his uniform from work

"Do you know when you're getting discharged" he asked Gemma

"In a few hours. They said by tonight at seven the absolute latest." She smiled

"Good."

And true to their word Gemma and the twins were released a few hours later with all of us helping

"So what did you name them" Rose asked excitedly as they were both set down in Johns house in the living room in little bassinets.

"Avery for the boy and aria for the girl" we all smiled.

"Welcome home my darlings" Gemma said with happy tears in her eyes to her two new children
