Rosettas POV

"Thank you for your time" papa said in a business like manner towards the principal

I gulped.

"Rosetta I would like you to clear everything out of your locker and go to each of your teachers and get the work for the next two weeks."

In order to save Gem from getting suspended I decided to take full blame without her knowing that is.

"Yes sir"

I do as told and go strait to my locker which hasn't been painted over yet.

I then see Gemma at hers.

"Hey. Why are you clearing out your locker" she asks once she notices everything I was shoving into my backpack.

"Suspended." She gasps

"For our lockers" she asks

"Yup"

"I'll walk with you to class". I nod

"Yeah I'm suspended for two weeks so I have to go collect work from every class."

"That sucks."

"I know" I sigh

"And not only that but I'm probably going to get a lecture from my dads about it." I'm dreading it so much.

"Alright let's go." She said and we walked to my classes collecting my work and hugged each other just before I had to go.

The trip home was silent and I kept it that way whenever dad or papa tried to start up a conversation.

The ride in the elevator was torcher and once we got into the apartment I bee lined it up to my room and flopped down onto my bed.

I also hear footsteps but nothing happens after. Except for whispering i know I'm not supposed to hear.

I creep up to my door and put my ear against it

"Asher what are we supposed to do."

"Li. It's ok. I'll talk to her."

"Asher this is serious. She could have gotten arrested."

"Don't you think I know that" dad whispered angrily

"Listen. I don't think being overly harsh is important right now but being her friend wouldn't work either. But she has to know this is not ok and she's going to be able to get away with it."

"I know. I know how to handle things especially when it comes to her emotions. I'm not as clueless as I used to be Liam." Dad whisper yelled at papa

"But Asher." Papa said and I know dad had had enough

"I'm going to be the one to talk to her and that is final" dad said in a serious tone and I scrambled to my bed quick.

"Fine" papa sighed aggravated and walked away. Dad then knocked on my door.

"Come in" I say quickly

"Hey princess" dad said as he walked in. He took the chair from my vanity and sat down onto it.

"Hi dad"

"Have fun eavesdropping" he asked with a small smile

"I don't know what you're talking about" I denied

"First vandalism and now lying to your own father"
He asked

"Dad it's not like that I just-" he cut me off

"Even though the intentions were good honey it was still wrong." Dad said

"I know. But if I didn't do something then I would have had a serious panic attack. I even did but my friend calmed me down before that could happen"

"Rose. This is serious. You could have been arrested from vandalism. Honey even if things are illegal but well intentioned that still makes them illegal." I sigh

"I know dad"

"Promise me you won't do anything like this again"

"But-"

"No buts young lady"

"Fine I promise"I mumble.

"Thank you. Now let's talk about punishment" I whine

"Oh quit your whining." Dad chuckles

"You're on dish duty for a week. And not only that but you're not allowed to go over to Cassandras for two weeks. You also have to turn in your phone before you go to sleep too. That is for a week though.

"Fine." I sigh.

"Good. Now. Let's go annoy your papa if we've reached an understanding" I smile

"Let's go"

I then text Cass and tell her what's going on and she called me.

"Heh baby this all really sucks"

"Yeah I know but I just thought of a loophole in dads punishment slash rule thingy" she just chuckled

"Oh yeah what's that"

"He said I can't go over to yours but he never said anything about you coming here or us not being able to go on dates"

"That's actually so true"

"Isn't it" I smile even though she can't see me

"My girlfriend a genius" I chuckle

"Aren't you just the luckiest girl in the world" I ask teasingly

"Of course I am. Its a bit late baby and you have to turn in your phone. We'll talk later ok" she asked

"Of course"

"Good night then baby doll" Cass said

"Night Cass" and with one final goodbye we hung up and I turned my phone in and went to bed.
