Chapter 37:Flooded

Sorry but I just realized I didn't update chapter 34 so if you want go back and read it, I do think you guys would like it if you go back and read it
The water was pouring out of the walls all over the training room, mom scooted out from under me and touched her forehead wiping the blood from her forehead. "Hope I'm fine see" she said reaching her hand out for me

I could hear more water rushing out of the walls in the hallway and in the other rooms flooding the tower, "B-But I h-hurt you" I studdered freaking out

"Its okay I've had worse" she said stepping closer but I stepped back in the puddle of water that was forming all over the tower "Hope I need you to calm down for me control the water and fix the pipes" she was looking around at all the water now standing on the floor

"Okay" I said closing my eyes and calming down trying to get control of the water in the tower but it was to much "I can't mom its to much" I said opening my eyes and looking at her

When I looked at her I saw she was treading water, the water was rising faster than I thought "Hope yes you can concentrate" she said trying to keep up with the water

"Okay okay" I said closing my eyes and really concentrating, I imagined the water going back down to the floor and going back through the walls and back into the pipes in the walls. I could feel myself starting to slowly get closer to the ground

I opened my eyes and noticed it was working, I could feel the water going away from me instead of towards me. I'm hoping the rest of the tower is doing the same and not just the training room because this is taking alot of energy

I could feel my energy draining and fast, luckily the water was almost gone and I almost fixed my mistake. I could feel myself getting dizzy and lightheaded, mom was talking but it was to muffled for me to understand and it sounded like she was 50 yards away from me

"Mom" I said opening my eyes before collapsing onto the floor

I felt my body hit the floor and then nothing but darkness, I used to much energy to return all the water back into the pipes. I haven't ever used that much energy before in my life, not even in a fight. I just need rest and time

I felt someone picking me up and bringing me somewhere and laying me down on something soft

After a while of me being asleep and resting I could hear noises clear "Whats wrong with her Nat?" Pietro asked rubbing my hand

"She just needs rest she used a lot of energy with the water" mom said towards Pietro "Did the rest of the tower dry out?" she asked someone

"Yeah she did a good job on it but it used all of her energy" dad said shifting from foot to foot. I could tell on how the floor was shifting under his feet

I started to flutter my eyes open and I saw Pietro sitting down on our bed rubbing my hand "Hey" I said my voice raspy

"Hope your awake" mom said walking over to me and putting her hand on my forehead

"Mom I'm fine" I said pushing her hand away "The question is are you okay?" I asked looking up at her forehead with some stitches and a crocodile bandade over it

"I'm fine its nothing" she said giving me a smile

"No I hurt you" I said turning away, I couldn't look at her anymore it hurt to much

"Hey look at me" mom said putting her fingers under my chin and turning me to look at her

"I'm sorry" I said a tear falling down my cheek

"Give us a minute boys" mom said looking at dad and Pietro

"Of course" Pietro said giving my knuckle a kiss before letting go and walking out of the room with dad

"Hope you can never hurt me no matter what you do I'll always be okay" she said giving me a smile and taking my hands in hers helping me sit up

"But I hurt you" I said looking down at my lap

"Yes you did but I'm alive and okay" she said looking down at her lap "And just think I've hurt you before and your still here fine" she said raising our heads at the same time

"Yeah I guess that is true" I said a small smile appearing on my face

"See we will never really hurt each other" she said standing up and pulling me off the bed "Now lets get you up and some food" she dragged me out of my room and down to the kitchen where she sat me down in a chair and put a plate of food infront of me

Everyone came running into the kitchen all looking shocked to see me up and out of my room, "Your okay?" Steve said coming over and hugging me from behind

"Yeah" I said giving them all a smile

"You gave us all a scare babe" Pietro said sitting down next to me and grabbing my hand and smiling looking into my eyes

"I'm sorry I just used to much energy trying to fix my mistake" I said looking down at the food on my plate

"Your fine Hope you know I'm rich and can fix almost everything" he said giving me a smile

"Dad that was my mess and I cleaned it up just fine" I said sighing

"Okay if you say so" dad said grabbing a drink and taking a sip

"I do say so" I said giving him a smile

"Now everyone get out and let Pietro and I be alone" I said making a shoeing motion for them to leave us alone in the kitchen

"Thank you" I yelled after they all left

"Your welcome" mom yelled back from the living room

Now it was just Pietro and I alone in the kitchen finally being able to talk in private and not have everyone listening in on our conversation
