Hi everyone quick author note if you could pretend anytime you read Bucky's name pretend its Steve's please and thank you. I thought of an idea and it involved Bucky not being in the story yet so thanks for ignoring Bucky's name
I didn't know what else to do besides cry, everyone is sleeping and trying everything they can to help me but nothing is working. I don't know what to do next, all I do is live in fear now. Afraid that hydra will come back for me, that they will kill everyone I love
I felt arms around me for a while but I didn't look up, I just stared at the ground and cried. I need to show I can be strong but right now I can't, I'm weak and broken and I don't think I can be put back together
"Hope" the voice finally said and I figured it was Steve
"S-Steve" I said
"I'm here Hope I'm here" he said running his fingers through my hair
"Steve how am I supposed to do this?" I asked looking up at him
"I don't know Hope but your family is right here and we will help you through it no matter what you decide" he said giving me a small smile trying to lighten the mood
"But--" I started to say but Steve covered my mouth
"No ifs, ands, or buts everyone in this tower is here for you no matter what time it is" he said bringing me back into a hug
"Promise?" I asked for some clearification
"Promise" he said holding me and then silence
We sat in silence for I don't know how long, I didn't even know what time I came down to the training room at. I could see the sun coming up over the horizon, Steve and I were still both fully awake and still not talking until the door burst open and in came running mom, dad, CJ, and Pietro
Steve and I looked at them in shock and started laughing "Whats wrong" I said standing up and walking over to Pietro where I gave him a big hug along with kissing him quickly ruffling up his silver bed hair even more
"We thought you were gone" mom said out of breath bending over on my knees trying to catch her breath
"Why?" I asked in shock why did they think I was gone
"You weren't in the bed when I woke up and the chair was tipped over" he said looking into my eyes, I was going to pick the chair up but I must have forgotten "and I got scared" Pietro said putting his hands on my waist before pulling me into him hugging me and kissing the top of my head
"Oh I'm sorry I couldn't fall back asleep so I came down here and trained a little bit" I said looking at mom and dad. CJ was standing next to them probably wondering what last night was all about and why I freaked out so much and why everyone here is all jumpy
I was about to speak again when the rest of the team ran into the training room out of breath as well "Hope" Bruce said giving me a worried look
"I found her" Thor said raising his hammer into the air which gave us all a smile even CJ
"Hope we were worried" Clint said putting his bow on his back and crossing his arms looking at me. Now everyone was in the room and looking more and more relieved by the second as they saw me alive and well in Pietro's arms
"I'm sorry I didn't think you guys would freak out this much" I said putting my head against Pietro's chest
"Hon we will always worry about you no matter how old you are" dad said giving me a smile which I returned happy to hear him say that
"Thanks dad" I said with the smile still on my face
"Of course honey" he said leaving the training room along with everyone else leaving Pietro and I alone in each others arms
"Promise me we will get through this" I said looking up into his ocean blue eyes
"I promise I will never leave you" he said giving me a kiss before pulling away and grabbing my hand leading me out of the training room and going to the living room. CJ was sitting on the couch talking with all the Avengers and she looked like she was having a blast
"Hey" I said sitting next to her
"Hey" she said giving me a smile
"I see your getting along with everyone" I said nudging her shoulder
"Yeah they are all super friendly" she said giving everyone a smile
"Lets go upstairs" I said grabbing CJ's hand and dragging her up the stairs to my room
"Can we move the girls weekend to some other time, right now I think I need to be close to mom and be with my family" I said looking down before looking back up at her
"Of course but I do need one soon" she said giving me a smile and grabbing my hand
"Deal" I said smiling
"Now lets get you home" I said standing up and showing CJ out of the tower
I went back up to my room and laid down on my back on the bed, I looked up at the ceiling and just thought on how much my life has changed for the better and the worse. I was getting hungry so I went down the stairs to find someone I never thought I would see again
And just like that it all came flooding back, everything I have buried. Now all back at the surface of my brain, all I could think about was the torture and pain I went through.
"Hope" he said turning around to face me
"B-B-Bucky" I hesitated saying his name feeling panicked and scared all over again
