My name is (F/N) (L/N). When I was little, I had an imaginary friend. When I grew up, he came back. He calls himself the Doctor, and he has a blue box called the TARDIS that can travel through all of time and space. I ran away with him, and we've been running ever since.
--------------------
"Oh, I've always wanted to go to Venice!!" I said excitedly, a wide smile on my face. The Doctor smiled widely also, and ran off to the control panel, running around it and spinning as he flipped some switches.

"Geronimo!!" He said and flipped the last switch, grabbing onto the rail. The TARDIS shifted quickly, jerking me backwards into my back. I yelped a bit and grabbed onto the railing so I wouldn't be thrown around anymore.

After a few seconds the TARDIS stopped, and the Doctor ran over, helping me up.
"Sorry (F/N), I might've forgot to mention that it was a bumpy ride...." he said with a smile and I chuckled.
"Oh, it's fine." I smiled at him before running to the doors and opening them, and my eyes widened at what I saw.

It was actually Italy. There were people everywhere in Venice, and I could hear instruments being played somewhere, and I sighed happily when I smelt something delicious.

The Doctor smiled and looked out over my shoulder. "Ah, Italy.... Very nice place. You made a great choice."

I smiled widely and hugged the Doctor tightly, and I can tell that he was a bit surprised due to him stumbling back a bit. "Thank you so much, Doctor!!"
He awkwardly hugged back, and patted my back. "Yes, of course (F/N), it is my pleasure."

I smiled and let go, and I could feel the heat in my cheeks as I looked at him.
"Well then, (F/N), this is your trip, what would you like to do first?"
I thought for a moment before I smiled.
"I really want to try the pasta here, it smells delicious!"

He smiles and takes my hand, running off somewhere with me. "Let's go then!"
I chuckled and ran with him, and we stopped at an ATM. He took out something, some kind of device. He pressed a button and the green light on the end glowed and buzzed, and I looked at him confused as he put it away and took a card out of the machine.

"What is that, Doctor?" I said to him, still confused as we turned and started walking somewhere.
"It's my sonic screwdriver."
"What does it do?" I ask, curiously.
"It can hack into different devices, open doors, turn things on and off, lots of things."
"Oh, I see." I said with a smile.

He smiles at me as we walk into the restaurant, and I take a deep breath, and smile smelling the delicious pasta and bread. The Doctor smiles at me and sits at a table, and I follow, sitting across from him. I then remembered something, we're in Italy, and they don't speak English-

My thoughts were cut short as a waitress walked up with a notepad. "Can I take your order?"
I looked at the Doctor, confused. He just smiled at me and looked at the waitress. "I'll have whatever she's having." He said, nodding his head toward me.
I looked at the waitress and smiled. "Could I have the fettuccine Alfredo bow tie pasta with the butter garlic breadsticks?"
"Of course. And that's what both of you want?" She looked over at the Doctor.
"Yes, that sounds delicious." He said with a smile, and the waitress walked off after jotting down our order.

I looked at the Doctor, still confused. "Doctor, how come she can understand us and we can understand her?"
The Doctor smiled. "I could tell you were confused about that. There's a circuit in the TARDIS that translates almost every language in your head and in hers. That means that they're actually talking in Italian, but we hear it in our language."

"Ooh, that makes sense then." I smile at him, and he smiles back. "You made a good choice with the order. After all, bow ties are cool." He leaned back and adjusted his bow tie, and I couldn't help but chuckle.

He looked up at me. "What?" He said, a cute and confused look on his face.
"Oh, nothing." I smiled and looked over as the food was brought to us. Oh, it looked so delicious. I poked a few pieces of pasta on my fork and took a bite. I rolled my eyes up at the ceiling. "Mm...." I swallowed and smiled. "This is really good."

The Doctor took a bite after me and shrugged. "It's alright. I have to admit, I've tasted better."
I smile and eat as we talk for a while, laughing at times. He told me adventures that he's had, and I told him what happened within the twelve years of my life that he traveled through.

When we finally finished, he paid using the card he got from the ATM. We then went outside and walked around for a bit before getting in one of those boats, and it was like a tour of the town. The river went through what seemed like all of Venice. It was absolutely beautiful.

As I looked around, astonished, I noticed a few times that the Doctor was watching me with a cute smile on his face. I felt my cheeks heat up a bit, and he took my hand, making me look at him. He smiled at me, and I couldn't help but smile back at him.

This trip to Venice was even better than I thought it would be.
