Durmstrang Girl (A Hogwarts Love Story)

Chapter 48

   I awoke groggily, inn the Hospital Wing. When I realized where I was, I looked around, making sure that everybody was there. Dean was sat in a chair next to my bed, asleep. He had many bruises a, now healing, below his left eye.

"It's good to see that you're awake, dear." Madam P said, walking over.

   At the sound of her voice, Dean jolted awake.

"Hm? What?" He asked, yawning.

   I couldn't help but laugh a bit at how cute my boyfriend was.

"You're awake!" Dean exclaimed, practically tackling me in a hug.

"What happened?" I asked when he finally pulled away.

   Dean quickly explained what had happened. Voldemort came and Sirius Black was dead, those were the two major things that I had learned.

"Oh, yeah, and Umbitch is over there." He said in a softer tone, pointing to the corner.

   Sure enough, Umbitch was wrapped in bandages with bruises and cuts everywhere.

"If it had been anybody else, I would make them stay the night. But, since I know that's not a good idea, I'll let you go early." Madam P said, knowing how much I hated Umbitch.

"You keep an eye on her and make sure she stays out of trouble." She told Dean, who laughed.

"I'll try, but you know how she gets." He joked, earning a light punch in the arm.

"You two better get going, or you'll miss the feast." Madam P said before leaving to go to her office.

   I climbed out of the bed, stumbling slightly. Dean wrapped his arm around my waist, helping to keep me steady as we walked to the Great Hall. We sat down next to the others, who instantly started telling me about how worried they had been. After dinner we all went to our dorms. I spent about half an hour nagging at the boys before they finally started packing. After everyone had finished packing, we all went to bed.

"Good night, princess." Dean said, pressing a quick kiss to my lips.

"Good night, Dean." I said.

"Cut out the lovey dovey shit and  go to sleep, will ya?" Seamus said from across the room.

   I couldn't help but laugh before snuggling into Dean's chest and going to sleep.
