You and hermione were awkwardly talking to each other for a few hours until Harry came back and you got up and gave him a kiss and he kisses you back
"Wow you must have been upset I didn't kiss you earlier." Harry says and you nod and you wanted to be saved from the awkwardness "How'd it go?" Harry asks hermione as she looks over
"Fine but we are complete opposites." Hermione says and Harry laughs
"Ah not really you both are really smart just you have your smarts in different ways." Harry says and you nod
"I use it to make sure Draco passes." You say and Harry laughs and hermione asks you something she was obviously avoiding without Harry around
"Why are you Dracos friend anyways? He's a terrible person." Hermione says and you nod
"Don't deny it he's an asshole and annoying but I've grown up with him he's basically my brother we need each other in a sibling best friend kind of way, I really couldn't imagine anyone else being my best friend." You say and hermione nods
"Still why would you wanna be friends with him when he calls people slurs casually." Hermione says and you sigh
"I hit him whenever he says anything rude or stuff he shouldn't be saying, I think he's slowly realized with me hitting him when he says it that it's not ok." You say and Harry laughs
"I remember when you hit him with a giant book and he passed out I think that's when he stopped." Harry says and you nod
"Yup and I don't regret it I'd do it again even to you Harry." You say and Harry hides his head
"Your scared of your girlfriend Harry?" Hermione says now thinking your probably abusive or something
"You've never seen her angry even Draco is terrified of her she's not abusive just scary as hell." Harry says and you nod
"My dad says I got it from my mom." You say and Harry kisses your cheek and you smile *Honestly I'm fine with being friends with hermione but she really seems to not like me*
