Cari POV:

This is not what i thought i would be doing 4 days into married life, but i'm glad shannon was here with me. 

Luckily, i did a big 9 month tour not long ago, and this was only a smaller tour, but we were still going to be away for a month. I was doing 10 shows, our first stop was South America, where 5 of our shows were, and then i was heading to New Zealand and Australia for the remaining 5. 

Once all the shows were done, Shannon and I were going to stay out in Australasia and do our honeymoon properly for a few weeks.

"Ready for the honeymoon of dreams?" i said jokingly as we loaded our bags at the check in desk at the airport

"it's not that bad, we are together and thats all that matters" shannon replied 

"as cheesy as that is, i love you"

We were soon up in the air, heading to Argentina, our first stop. I was due to headline at my own show in Buenos Aires in two days time

Shannon and i were literally inseparable, where one of us went, so did the other, even if it was to the toilet.

We were always intertwined, holding hands or cuddling in some way wherever we went, we were enjoying married life.

We were a few hours into the flight and Shannon had fallen asleep on my shoulder, or so i thought.

"is it weird that i want to join the mile high club right now" i whispered to John who was situated on the other side of the isle, thinking Shannon was asleep

"you're already part of that club" shannon responded without opening her eyes or moving

"not with you i'm not... oh wait"

I had a flashback to when i was on tour with LANY and Shannon was there and we were on a plane.. and you can guess.

Shannon immediately sat up "you forgot about that huh, i was obviously not that memorable, how about we change that"

She had the biggest smirk on her face and reached out for my hand. It was an overnight flight so most people were asleep, but we walked down the aisle to the bathroom.....

As we came back all giggly John gave us the biggest side eye and expressed his disapproval

"guys i know this isn't the ideal honeymoon but let's control ourselves in a public area please"

we didn't reply, just sat back down in our seats and wrapped ourselves up in each other, but we were too excited to sleep so we just talked for a while, which also annoyed John as he was trying to sleep

This time we were talking about kids, always a dangerous topic with the two of us. We knew we wanted them, so so bad, but we just didn't know when the right time would be

we are obsessed with picking out baby names, however we can never agree. Shannon was more of a mainstream person, with ideas like Olivia, Noah, Lucas and Sophia, where as i'm more of an alternative name kinda girl, including names like Ocean and Star. 

I partially like these names because i know Shannon hates them.

Shannon POV

Almost 17 hours later we had arrived at our hotel where everyone crashed for the night.

I think we slept for about 15 hours, but when i woke up i felt rougher than i did before i fell asleep. Luckily, though, we went to bed at 7pm and slept through the night and woke at 10am, which meant that we beat the jet lag.

I wasn't really in the mood for wasting the day away, and Cari had a show tonight, so i knew we had to get up, although, as per usual, Cari did not want to.

I attempted to get out of bed, thinking cari was asleep, but she gripped me even tighter as i started to move.

"baby we can't stay in bed all day, you have things to do, i want to explore" i said

"not all day, just 10 more minutes" she responded without opening her eyes, but she did loosen her grip on my body, which i took advantage of by quickly slipping out

"nooooo" she groaned and i just went to the bathroom to shower

5 minutes later there was a knock on the bathroom door, it was my wife.

"can i shower with you?" she said in a shallow voice

That just put the biggest smile on my face, although i was stood butt-naked with soap in my eyes opening the door for her.

An hour later we were leaving the hotel. I was off to explore and take some pictures, cari was off to do a sound check and various things at the venue
