The end of the world began
With the soft touch of your hand
My heart exploded and gave way to a universe of you
The beginning of us is the beginning of time
A perfect you, described in imperfect rhymes
A nebula of brown and green meets my sea of blue
The boundaries of this universe push each other further and further away still
It is insufficient to say my love stretches from one border to the other
Find the end of my love in the last digit of pi
To prove it with a human heart when I can't comprehend my own mind
Shall I slay God, or maybe lasso the sun
Heroic deeds for a mortal heart indeed
I would count every grain of sand
To once again feel the embrace of your hand
The heat death of the universe pales in the passion that burns within for you
Yet this Armageddon, this Ragnarock will be prolonged
I plead love, but still apologize for the things I've done wrong
So if you're watching me as I burn up in the stratosphere trying to enter your world
I hope you'll smile and make a wish and I hope most of all that wish comes true
