Contradiction

The sky seems 

So close yet so far

I can almost touch the stars

Their beauty is astounding

Complex in nature, yet so simple

Like me

At first glance I am 

Simple, bright and happy

But I’m layers of complexity 

I pull everything toward me

And push everything away at the same time

I am a contradiction 

Living in one body
