We all believe we are unique
Which makes us like everyone else
Those who truly stand out, make a name
Do something different, are ridiculed
For not fitting in
Our society is crumbling around our ears
Yet we stare at screens
And pretend it doesn’t affect us
When, in reality we all affect one another
In an infinite number of ways
Everything happens for a reason
Yet nothing happens beyond our control
