Red is the color of Anger
Anger, rightful or undeserved
It is seen as the brightest red
Rage is different
Rage is rarely undeserved
Rade the feeling language feels
Rage is the deepest red
The color of blood
Blue is the color of Sorrow
Sorrow, guilt, shame
It isn’t all the same
Some blues may be midnight
Others as light as the first ray of sun of blue sky
It depends, truly, on the circumstances
Black is the color of Depression
Hopelessness in its purest form
“I feel empty”
Everything is dark, black as night
What can I do to make it right?
Depression is tricky, it seems to go away,
Then the black returns, poisonous to our hope
Green is the color of Jealousy
Seeing him with someone else
Wanting their life
Green destroys, yet drives us forward
Purple is the color of Love
The love you feel for the world
So deep and profound
Boundless and free
Yellow is the color of Joy
Seeing your baby for the first time
Seeing a child make a discovery of the world around them
Maybe even, just passing that hard test
White is the color of Purity
Whole, unbroken, new
Unspoiled, perfect
White is the hardest to be
Impossible to make
A rainbow is all of these and we call it beautiful
But it is not human
If people are made of this rainbow,
(Trust me, they are)
Why must we put them down for being different?
Let the colors shine through
Brightly and be proud you can feel
