"It was you." Fallon stared at the girl in front of her.
"What?" The Auburn-haired girl questioned looking confused. Fallon mentally face-palmed herself as she realized she said that out loud.
"Uh, I just meant that the electrical shock was caused by your magic." Improvisation wasn't one of Fallon's skills, but it was a skill she desperately need to acquire.
"Oh, right sorry about that. This is the second time today that this has happened, my magic usually never gets like this." The younger girl grabbed started grabbing her books again. Fallon also started to help again, noticing all the types of books the auburn-haired girl had.
"History of the Otherworld, History of the Six Realms. You must really be into history." Fallon said as she looked through the books.
"I guess you can say I'm a bit of a history nerd." She said coyly, as she grabbed the books and stacked them back up in her hands. She had way too many books to be carrying by herself
"Here, let me help you carry them." Fallon grabbed half of the books the young girl was holding, and carried them herself.
"Thank you, I'm Beatrix." The girl turned her head, smiling softly as she introduced herself.
"I'm Fallon." They both smiled at each other, no one moved as they both got lost in each other's eyes.
Beatrix was the first to shake it off, turning in an opposite direction and walking off.
"C'mon I'll lead the way to my dorm." They both walked through the dark hallways of the college. It was dimly lit, by the windows that allowed the moonlight to shine in.
"So you're a first-year?" Fallon had never seen. her before, and she looked a little young to be a second year.
"I'm a lot of things." Beatrix replied vaguely. She then turned her head and faced Fallon.
"What about you? Are you a first-year?" Beatrix questioned.
"Oh no, I'm a second year." The two had finally pulled up to Beatrix's dorm. Fallon noticed this is the same hallway her dorm was in.
"Huh, we're three doors down from each other. What a coincidence." Fallon said as she looked down the hall and saw her own dorm.
"Yeah, I guess we'll be seeing each other more often, not that I mind." Beatrix said as she started to open the door to her dorm. Once inside, Beatrix took the books from Fallon and placed them on her desk.
