⚠️WARNING: PUKE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT IS MENTIONED⚠️

Rachelle's P.O.V:

I woke up screaming "stop, stop! Please stop!"

I couldn't remember what I'd dreamt about, but it clearly wasn't nice. I had tears rolling down my face while I had an unsettling feeling in my stomach.

I was going to throw up.

Running to the bathroom, I stumbled. I hit the wall making a loud "clatter" noise. I whispered a profanity before finally reaching the bathroom.

I grabbed toilet paper so I could lift the toilet seat, leaning over it. I pulled my hair back so it wouldn't touch the toilet and made sure I placed my hands on my thighs and not the toilet bowl.

Just as I leaned over to hurl I heard the door open. I was too busy puking to check who it was, but it became clear as soon as I heard their voice.

"Oh, my— babe! Are you— MR. SMITH!!"

I heard Garrett yell, not caring who he woke up, as I emptied my stomach. I wish he hadn't reacted like this, but I guess he just didn't know what to do.

I heard heavy footsteps trample up the stairs while Garrett sat next to me, rubbing my back and whispering comforting words as I whimpered in pain.

"What's— oh goodness" I heard my mom say.

"My poor baby. Honey, what happened" my dad asked.

I felt like saying "what do you think happened", but I figured that'd be rude. He was just trying to help.

"I just... I don't know" I couldn't find the strength to speak.

"I heard her scream, but I wasn't sure if it was real until I heard a bang in the hallway" Garrett started. "Then I came out to see the light on in here... so, I came in and that's when I saw Rachelle."

My dad just nodded.

I whispered, "I'm sorry."

"Honey, there's absolutely nothing to be sorry about. The whole point of family is to lean on one another. It's ok! We're here for you... Always" my dad said ever-so-sweetly with a sympathetic smile.

"Don't ever be sorry for this babygirl" I heard Garrett say lowly in my ear, rubbing my back.

I noticed my dad's eyes closed while his head hung low. He looked sad.

"What's wrong Dad?"

"Nothing. It's nothing" he said with a fake "tough" face.

"It's not nothing" I said leaning back into Garrett.

"I just— I thought praying would help" he said.

"Aww, Dad... it did. I can't remember what I dreamt. It may seem small to you, but it's huge to me!"

He lightly smiled.

"Do you puke like this all the time" I heard my mother ask.

"No" I answered.

I noticed her holding medicine, water, and a wet towel. When did she get those??

"We should get you in bed honey" my mom said sweetly.

"Ok... Just let me— let me brush my teeth" I said weakly.

"Do you still feel sick? You might not want to brush your teeth if you're still sick" Garrett said quietly.
