"Okay, for Gwen's safely I'm riding with her. Dexter, can you get the food?"
Dexter turned away from Arnold and the gang and said with seriousness in his voice
"Okay, pizza for dinner and we're meeting up at your place. Gwen I'm getting your brother."
I sighed and said while walking to my car that Jeremy was gently pushing me too
"Sure, whatever. He needs to know."
Jeremy got infront of me and opened the car door for me. He said while, holding the door opened for me with a cheesy smile
"Get in this beautiful car, Gwenni"
I tried to give him a smile but, it just turned into a frown. I know I shouldn't care about my father after all the things he did and how he treated me but, I couldn't help to care for him. His my father even if he doesn't believe he is. He's just having a moment is all. I mean my mom cheated on him with his best friend it's going to take some time and it seems like he got over mom. I just sighed and was about to get in my car. But, Arnold said to me while, walking to the other side of the car. He said while, looking at me with sadness in his eyes and a frown on his face
"What's wrong Gwen?"
Jeremy kind of finally snapped at him and his eyes had a glare to it. That it makes me believe that's not the same Jeremy that is standing next to me and holding the door. Jeremy said
"It's has nothing to do with you. It doesn't concern you Blacksmith! This is me, Dexter and Gwen's problem no one else."
I really couldn't believe that at all. Jeremy just told off Arnold and showed me a mad side of him. Erin said while, glaring hard at Jeremy
"Can you at least tell us so, we know what's up because, we're her friends too."
I started to get nervous again by that point I just blurted it out while, focusing on the ground. I said
"It's an family issues I'm not ready to admit to it. I'll tell you when, I know you guys better enough then, you know why I'm the way I am. I promise in the future but, right now, I'm not ready to tell. They know because, they seen it. I don't tell them or anyone...It was my business from the begin. So, when I'm ready to tell then you know."
Arnold and the rest looked abit hurt but, they barely know the real me. Who in the hell would talk to a nerd? A bookworm. A loser. A underdog. I just sighed and Dexter said to them with a smirk that spread upon his face
"See, just wait your turn. But, for now see you loser's later."
Deter got in his car. While, me and Jeremy got in mine. I drove out of the parking lot of the restaurant and was right behind Dexter. I can tell Arnold was following us, I just focus on the road until, Jeremy said while turning the music down
"Why were you hanging out with Arnold and his friends?"
I sighed and said while running a hand through my hair and glaceing at the side mirrors of my door
"It's a long story but, I'll make it short. I was hanging out with Asia, Skyler, and Sammie at the movies. Arnold spotted me and we all hanged out... Then, when the movie was over. Me and Arnold just went to the mall and went to the arcade place and got kicked out before the mall close completely... Then, we met up at the Chinese restanunrtn to eat. Then my dad...then, you guys came."
He nodded his head in understanding. I said while, putting both of my hands on the wheel
"What is so bad about Arnold that you guys don't want me to see him and his friends. I mean they were nice to me and everything."
