Chapter-8

"Nahi hum favourite hai."

Next was Ranvijay, Rajesh and Rishi,

"Arre bhai kyun? Hum uske dads hai. Hum favourite hai after all betiyon ko papa sabse pyaare hote hai."

Their wives asked raising their brows,

"ye kya logic hua?"

Harsh and Rajni shook their heads at the kids, Harsh was the one to say,

"Tum log bhi na, kis baat pe jhagda kar rahe ho...." Everyone gave each other looks at his words before Harsh continued making Taani shocked,

"Of course hum, uske daadi-daadi uske favourite hai."

Rajni supported her husband,

"Haan of course, bata do Taani inn sabko."

Taani was going from shocked to completely perplexed while rey was enjoying his family's antiques and Taani's confused expressions. The girl looked pale as if a deer caught in headlight. Only she was the one who knew how she felt at that moment, she never thought that one day there would be people in her life who would be fighting for being her favourite. When did she got so lucky to have these people?

She looked at Rey who was sitting beside her squeezing her hand and she immeditaley knew the answer, looking at everyone she spoke a little emotionally,

"Aap sab mere favourite hai, mere liye bahot special hai. Par agar ek ko chunna ho to main..." Everyone was looking at her in anticipation when she looked at Rey saying lovingly, "Reyansh ka name lungi, because agar meri shaadi unse nahoi ho rahi hoti to main aap sab se kabhi ni mil paati...." Again looking back at the family, who were now smiling widely at her answer, "Agar ye nahi hote to main aap sab se kese milti. Isliye aap sab mere liye bahot zyada special hai."

The family awed at her answer while Rey was looking at her with all the love he could muster in his eyes. He could tell he got the girl he wanted, someone who would love his family and care for them like her own.

Sharon was the one to make her at ease, teasing her,

"Kya Taani? Apne fiancé ka hi name lena tha to bata deti. Hume pata hai vese bhi vo tumhara mossssst favourite hai."

Adarsh said immeditaley,

"Jese ki tum uski."

Everyone chuckled ta his words while Rey smiled widely and Taani blushed, still a small beautiful smile was plastered on her face. Sanskar pouted and said,

"Bhabhi, aapne mera dil tod diya. Mujhe laga sirf main aapka favourite hoon."

Taani buyed his lie as serious and said concerned,

"Sorry Sanskaar, mera vo...."

She stopped when everyone burst out laughing apart from Rey who slapped Sanskar on the back of his head, Sanskar rubbed his head before immediately sayng to Taani who looked startled seeing everyone laugh,

"Bhabhi.. It's okay. Aap kyu sorry bol rahi hai, main to bas Mazak kar raha tha aapse. Meri baton ko na itna seriously mat liya kijiye or haan, please sorry to kabhi mat bolna. Bhabhi mumma jesi hoti hai, or mumma sorry ni bolti."

Saying that he kissed Taani's forehead getting up from his seat making her smile widely. She nodded and he asked concerned,

"Aapko prank ka bura to nahi lagan a. Main bas tease kar raha tha."

Taani shook her head,

"Bilkul bhi nahi, tum mere sath jab chahe Mazak kar sakte ho."

Sanskar grinned caressing her head before sitting on his seat and Ranvijay said lovingly,
