Every end has a new beginning

Becky: Well it's official. Scoops and Violet are dating.  I can't say I am surprised though. I have known they liked each other for a while now. It was only a matter of time till they got together. I was sad at first when I heard about it but after a while I was able to live with this reality. Still I kinda wish I could have told Scoops before hand. I mean I would have been rejected but it still would have left my mind at ease. But anyway. I was doing my vocabulary test for the week. We get these tests every Friday. And I am always happy to do them. For me at least they are easy. And today was very special. For the past few weeks the teacher, Mrs. Davis, was hosting a competition. The student who got the best scores on their test for 5 weeks straight would get a gold star. And not just a sticker ether. A real gold star. Everyone was doing there best. And me and Victoria were neck and neck. I heard Victoria whisper to me. "You know your not gonna beat me right? I mean I am the best at Vocabulary." She explained while giving me a superior look. Like she won the prize already. Scoops chimed in "I thought you said you were the best at math?" "Yeah that too.  I am the best at everything. No matter what it is. And that includes Vocab." She explained. Me and Victoria have had a rivalry ever since we meet. She constantly told me how I was the "Worst". Always picking on me. Always breathing down my neck. Always showing how wonderful she was. Especially to me. But I didn't say anything back. I didn't really know what to say. I wanted her to stop but I knew that if I stood up to her she'd attempt to ruin me. I could be Wordgirl and demand that she leave "Becky" alone. But my Job as a superhero was to help others. Not myself. Finally I was on the last question. And I looked around and saw everyone was stuck on the Word. The question was "What does the word 'Deputation' mean? And when do we use it?" People were biting there pens. Looking to other people's papers hoping they would have the answer only to see that they didn't know it ether. Some were frustrated even but mostly confused. I saw Victoria looking at her paper like it was written in a foreign language. I saw my opportunity and took it. I wrote the answer down and then turned it around so no one could cheat off of me. I darted my eyes around the room and Wait.
Tobey: How is it that I,Theadore Macalastar the 3rd, couldn't figure out the answer to a simple word! I was feeling very Agitated when I looked over. I saw Becky. The truth is. I know she's Wordgirl. I mean I won't admit it for her sake but it is very obvious at this point. She hasn't admitted it. But she doesn't need too. The evidence was right there. But even if she wasn't Wordgirl. I still found myself longing for her. Her soft short hair, her stunning eyes, her perfectly Rosie cheeks. So was very smart too. And funny. I could talk on and on about her if it wasn't for the fact that she liked Scoops for 1. What did she see in him anyway?! He never seemed to be interested in her. And I have never seen there romantic cemetery. But anyway. I looked over and saw that she was Done?! Wow! She was the first kid to answer the question. She really is intelligent. I found myself staring for a bit until my thoughts were interrupted. "Alright class you have 1 more minute to finish your test. And win the grand prize." I heard the teacher exclaim cheerfully. I panicked and wrote "I don't know" on the paper hoping Mrs. Davis would understand. She then told us our time was up and took our test back to look them over.
Becky: Mrs. Davis took our tests and then the bell rang. "Ok Class. The test will be graded when you get back for recess. I wish the best for all of you and have fun." She said as we went to the playground. When we got outside I went under a tree that was close to the benches near the playground. I liked going there to relax. Scoops and Violet went to the seesaw. I got lost in thought when Victoria came in front if me. "Why what do we have hear? Look it's Becky 'Worstford'" she said mockingly. "Victoria." I replied unamused. "You know I'm glad you exist. Because your existence. Just proves why I am the best." She explained. I just rolled my eyes and looked down. She got frustrated with this and walked closer to me. "What. Are you not gonna say anything?" She asked. "What am I supposed to say?" I asked irritated. "Idk. Aren't you gonna talk back? Call me names?" "Why would you want that?" I asked confused. "I am the best at bullying people. No one can ignore my remarks." She explained. "Well I can." I said smartly and tried to walk away. Till Victoria pinned me against the tree. "Listen hear Becky! You may think you are all high and mighty. But your not! I am. Your just a pathetic excuse that the world has to deal with! And winning that prize will just show that off even more." She shouted at me. I honestly felt a little scared. And her words did effect me. But I didn't show it. I didn't want her to get that satisfaction.  I Whipped a tear from my eye away and looked at her in the eye. "I will give you credit Victoria. Your the best at being the worst." I said. Her face went all red and I started wondering if I should have said something. "Why you little" she exclaimed as she lifted her hand presumably to hit me. I closed my eyes and braced for impact until. "Stop!" A voice behind Victoria said. Both me and Victoria looked to see who it was and to my utter shock it was Tobey! "That is enough. Leave her alone!" He demanded. Victoria scoffed at him and turned to face him. "What on earth do you think your doing? Being the hero?" She asked with a mocking tone in her voice. "That is not important right now! You will leave Becky alone or." And he pulled a remote out. After the incident at Valentine's Day Victoria knew that Tobey's robots were more powerful then her. No matter what she did The robots could easily take her down just by picking her up it stomping on her if she wasn't careful. She looked at Tobey and then looked at me. She then huffed and walked away in a sour mood. "Feu. That was close." I chuckled. I then looked at Tobey who was kinda just standing there awkwardly. My guess was that this was the first time he actually saved someone rather then try to destroy so he probably didn't know what to do now. So a walked over to him. "Hey Tobey. Um. Thanks for saving me back there." I said. And gave him a sweet smile. "No problem Becky. I never liked Victoria pest anyway." He explained. I giggled at the nickname he gave Victoria. I noticed Tobey looked at me when I laughed and started blushing! I got curious. "Why are you blushing?" I asked. His eyes went as big and he put his hand on his face. Which caused him to blush more. "I- Uh It's nothing I just thought your laugh was cute." He said while blushing. I stated blushing when he said this and we stood there for a bit till the bell rang again. "Uh well um. Thanks again. And I will see you in class." I said. "What? OH uh y-yeah um see you then. Good luck on the test!" He shouted back. "You too!" I said and ran off. I felt my cheeks again and they were still burning. What was this feeling? Was it? I mean. No! I couldn't be. Was I growing a crush on Tobey? "OK Class everyone settle down." Mrs. Davis began to say. "Now you all have done your best throughout these past couple weeks. And I am very proud of all of you. But sadly there can be only one winner of this compilation. Drum roll please!" And she tapped her fingers on the table like drum. "Please let it be me. Please let it be me." I whispered to myself. I saw Victoria stand up all proud as if she knew what Mrs. Davis was gonna say. And then It happened. "Becky Botsford!" She excitingly announced. "Aaahhh" I shouted excitedly. Most everyone clapped and Violet and Scoops started shouting my name. And to my surprise the most excited one was Tobey. He was jumping up and down in his seat while trying not to squeal. This wasn't like him. Usually Tobey hated losing. But he was happy for my winning. It was honestly adorable. Wait! No! Not that!I walked up and the teacher gave me the star and I thanked her. Victoria's face was of pure rage. "NO!" She shouted. "I was supposed to win that star! This isn't fair!" Everyone was staring at her worrying about what she was gonna do. Mrs.Davis looked over to her. "But Victoria you already have so many rewards and trophies at home. Can't you let one person win a prize besides yourself?" She asked sweetly. "No one else deserves rewards but ME Victoria BEST! And I will certainly not lose to HER!" And she said "Her" With venom in her voice. She then pulled out her recorder. "You know I too will show my happiness for you Becky. By Playing you a Song!" "No Wai-" I tried to say. Victoria's recorder played and everyone went into a daze. But I could still see what she was doing. She used her powers to take the Star and placed it in her bag. and then she ran off presumably to take it home and put in her collection. A couple minutes later I was out of my Daze and everyone was in a state of shock over what just happened. I was feeling bad for a moment. I finally won something for something I was really talented at and she took it. After a couple minutes I asked Mrs.Davis is I could use the bathroom. and she let me. I ran the the thankfully empty bathroom. changed into my costume. and flew off to recover that Star.
